I love this coffee pot! It holds a true 12 cups of water. It is super quiet and no noise which is awesome. I love all the features it has such as a timer so my coffee is ready when I wake up in the morning. The design is sleek and modern looking making my kitchen look more modern too. I am so far very pleased with this coffee maker! The instructions for programming the clock and preset brewing times were easy to follow. It took me about 30min to unbox, set up, program, flush with 2 cycles of water, and fill with water and coffee so it was ready to go in the morning. It also has a variable time option for how long the carafe warmer stays on before automatically shutting off (max 4h). I was pleasantly surprised with the included reusable filter — it has measuring gradations to help you use the optimal amount of grounds (in case you aren’t the type to use a measuring spoon). I’m not sure I will use the 12c capacity often, but it will be a nice feature for when I have people over. My coffee was ready and waiting for me when i got up this morning, and is still warm in my (cheapo, not super insulating) travel mug 2 hours later. Looks pretty sharp on my counter, too!

All below reflects my personal view that may or may not be relevant to others.1. The Good. Looks great. Feels like solidly build from quality materials. Makes a great coffee.2. Short falling from my old Kitchen aid 14 cup.You can not get it in Red color that become a signature/accent color in my kitchen with a number of KitchenAid appliances..Machine is elongated. So, it is seating under cabinet sideways. Yet- “brew” button is strangely not on same side as main controls. You can’t easily reach/see it.On old machine brewing compartment opens sideways, but new one is opens “up”.That means that in order to prepare fresh batch you have to pull whole machine from under cabinets.New water tank feels flimsy. Its handle looks like it will not last for long time. There is no more built in water filter, so if you need this feature – look elsewhere.

My favorite thing is the built in filter and the spiral showerhead. I love the timer which makes it easy to get everything ready the night before and one less thing to check off in the morning. The water tank also makes this easy to use where you are not refilling every day, only when it gets low. You don’t have to try and fill it through a tiny hole using the coffee pitcher, it removes and you can fill it at the sink. A must have for every coffee drinking family.

I like this coffee maker for the most part. I like the spiral shower head because it ensures all the coffee grounds get saturated with water. I like the removable water tank too. It has a large opening and makes filling it with water from the sink so easy. I also like that it comes with a reusable filter; although the plastic handle to pull the filter out looks flimsy. This coffee maker has a programmable warming plate. I would rather have had a thermal pot that keeps the coffee warm because I like to bring the coffee pot to the table. With this coffee maker, I have to leave the coffee pot on the warming plate to keep it warm, so I have to get up every time I want another cup.

I’m picky about my coffee — I was married in a coffee house. This KitchenAid coffee maker is wonderful, I love the programmable features. There is something about how the spiral showerhead works that really improves the taste of the coffee. Being able to set the warming plate time is something I’ve never seen in another coffee maker. If there is one minor feature I don’t like, it is that the water container has white text, and it is somewhat hard to see. Even with that minor complaint, I would highly recommend this coffee maker!

This 12 cup programmable coffee maker is sleek in design and has fantastic features! The filter is permanent and very easy to remove and clean, you can pop it in the dishwasher on the top shelf or simply wash it with mild dish detergent. The carafe can also be washed with mild dish detergent. The plastic water tank can be easily lifted out to fill or clean or you can simply pour water directly in the tank The programmable features allow you to set an automatic time for brewing, set the clock, change your brew strength or the warmth of the plate! I love the cup size on this coffee maker because we entertain alot and it makes up to 12 cups at a time! I loved the way my coffee tastes and that everything about this is easy to use while looking fantastic on my countertop! I highly recommend this product!

This has many features but is simple enough to use. I love the refillable reservoir and the timer to let you know the coffee is ready. It is hot when it is done so I have to wait a few minutes before it can drink the coffee. It is a great design, looks nice and comes in other colors.

Received the coffee maker as a present….one of the best coffee makers I have had over the years…unfortunately the carafe broke and the replacement carafes have been out of stock for almost 6 months now. Very disappointed in Kitchenaid….all of the kitchen appliances, both major and countertop, are Kitchenaid and this is the 1st issue we have had.
