I have been progressively moving toward replacing all of our kitchen appliances with KitchenAid products. Despite some issues with a microwave and dishwasher, I purchased this unit to replace our Wolfgang Puc unit.It is a beautiful unit, and the performance is outstanding. Preheats quickly, and cooks evenly and as described. We have had nothing but positive experiences with this unit: we use it mostly in convection mode, but it exceeds performance expectations in all modes. The digital display is wonderful. Only negative: I think for the price, the unit should have included an interior light!!That said, the light was not a deal breaker….

We wanted a retro-style toaster oven so we did some research. KitchenAid rose to the top quickly. The incredible features are simple to use. The stove has a real quality feel to it. Even the broiling pan is quality, not aluminum like others. It came with a round steel, coated pan with a steel chrome plated rack to fit in it, rather than the square pan listed; Nice upgrade. We were looking for blue, but the blue was too purple rather than cobalt, and a whole lot more expensive. The red is a perfect red. Every day I ask my husband, “Have I told you how much I love this toaster oven?”

Never realized how pitiful my last countertop broiler oven was until I got the Kitchenaid! It’s beautiful. The shelf slides in and out so nicely and smooth. 5 lb chicken roast came out perfect! Toasts both sides of bread (something my last one never did), and pizza fits nicely inside. Beautifully spacious 12 x 12” inside. Door shuts solid. But for me, the best of all is NO nasty non-stick chemicals, which was my first and main shopping goal when it came to a broiler oven. Very happy with purchase!

It has a a lot modes and dos them well. One real negative is the “preheat” feature. Let’s say you are baking 4 potatoes. The oven comes on at 350 and you set your time. Your done, NO! When preheat completes, a sound and a flashing “on” button comes on. If you to be gone or on another project the OVEN SHUTS OFF! This not right and real pain in the.

Breville, Cuisinart, KitchenaidI have used in my kitchen the Breville Smart Oven, Cuisinart TOB 135N and most recently this Kitchenaid. The Breville was the first, worked really well until the warranty about expired. Was advised that it could be sent in for repair on the warranty, but shipping was simply too high. For the cost of the Breville, decided to try something new. Next moved on to a Cuisinart. Worked ok, really good warranty (3 years) but it died. Shopping around came across this Kitchenaid. I love it. Great look in my kitchen (purchased the Oxyx Black). Comparing these ovens the Kitchenaid just “feels” like it is built well. You open the door and it doesn’t have that “tinny” feel. I didn’t want an oversized toaster oven. Some reviews focus on the preheat and having to hit “start” before it begins to bake. As long as you are aware of this, not a big deal. Just a few minutes to preheat and you are good to go. It cleans very easily inside and out. It operates more like a mni-oven than a toaster type oven. So why didn’t I have it an excellent quality and overall rating? The convection fan had a funny rattle and so I am in process of getting a new one sent to me. No issues with Kitchenaid, they simply advised they would sent a new one and I would return the old one (in a prepaid shipping box). When I get the new one, assuming all is well – I will revise the “goods” to “excellent.”Even considering the rattly fan (only when on convection bake) – I really do love this product.

Received my kitchenaid countertop two weeks ago and use it more than my built in oven. Frozen Pizza came out delicious, baked potatoes are to die for, turkey pot pies come out great, but the best is just plain toast, done to perfection everytime. Best kitchen investment in a long time. No regrets on my purchase of the kitchenaid countertop oven. I see a lot of use in its future.
