This is a great electric kettle. It is a bit smaller in capacity than others I’ve used, but it offers much more. Being able to control the temp is an excellent feature, and I love that it holds my water at that temp until I can get to it. If I’m using this to make tea, the thermometer on the top is handy for deciding if I really need to heat the pot again or if it is warm enough for the second cup.

Best electric hot water tea kettle I have ever had. Love the ability to adjust the pour rate and temperature control. Some of the teas I brew need a lower temperature of hot water for brewing a perfect pot of tea. The water heats up quickly to the desired temperature. Kettle is easy to use and clean. Great for cooking when you need to add hot water as it heats up faster than heating water in a pot. Very versatile. Great for heating water for french press coffee and pour over coffee.

I love this kettle, it has made making hot teas and coffee so much more easier than my old store model. I still love using my drip machine to make a lot of coffee for everyone in the morning as we rush through our day, but this electric kettle has made our leisure time of enjoying coffee and tea so much easier. This unit allows me to get the best water temperatures for tea them bump it up and get the right temperature for coffee. Even had to get a better pour over because of this kettle. A little small, where as you can not make a bunch of cups, but because of its size you can quickly get more water that you need.

First off I was provided this kettle free of charge in return for an honest review. I have used this electric kettle for 3 weeks now and can tell you that it is a wonderful little appliance. I use this daily for French press coffee and tea. I love that you can set the temperature of the water for the type of beverage you are preparing. No more astringent bitter green tea for me. I live at high altitude so I have to lower the temperatures a bit, but that’s super easy to figure out. The best feature of the kettle is being able to set the hold temp function. I can heat a full pot and the remaining water will stay at my selected temperature for up to 30 minutes. The kettle is also really pretty and made of a nicely weighted stainless steel. It just feels good when you pick it up. My one and only complaint with the kettle is the size. I wish it was a half-liter larger so I could use it when we have company and I get out the 12-cup French press pot. If you are looking for an adjustable temperature electric kettle for tea, French press coffee, or pour over coffee I can highly recommend this kettle.

There’s nothing I don’t love about this kettle! The size is perfect, the design is elegant, the finish seems very durable, and the top and temperature gauge both fit snugly but not too tightly. I love the look and ergonomic feel of this stylish kettle! The flow control and precision pour has eliminated wet splashes and overflowing cups. The temperature control is another wonderful feature that works extremely well for pour over coffee and when making tea and instant cereal. I read reviews stating they didn’t think the kettle held enough water. This great kettle holds enough water for several large cups of tea and it heats the water so quickly that if you needed additional water it shouldn’t be an issue.I LOVE that it will hold the water temperature for 30 minutes and then shut off. I was given this kettle by KitchenAid to test for heating water for coffee brewing in my French Press. I use a Bodum Brazil French Press Coffee Maker, 51 Ounce, 1.5 Liter, (12 Cup). The water can be heated quickly and precisely to the recommended 200°F in the easy-pouring KitchenAid Digital Kettle. My only complaint is I have to heat water twice to make enough to fill the 1.5 liter press from the 1 liter kettle. I just need a bigger kettle or smaller Fr. press..

It is the perfect size for 4 cups of pour-over coffee or 2 large cups!It is compact and looks great on the counter. It took less than 5 minutes to reach 212 degrees for herbal tea and less than that for the perfect pour-over temperature.Makes pour-over coffee in half the time as our former stovetop kettle method. Faster than drip now and so much easier and better. Decided to double check the digital base and lid thermometer temperature and they match exactly that of my super precise digital thermometer. Pour spout control settings allow for a fast heavy pour for a teabag or a super controlled pour which gently moistens the pour-over coffee grounds and prevents splash or grounds ejection.It is easy to add water through the large opening. I like the sleek look of the pot and that the “1ltr Max” pressed marking inside is hidden under the handle on the outside. When filling with nearly 1 liter directly from the faucet, you must hold the pot by the handle at a strange angle to see the Max water mark, but I got used to that in one use. Being all stainless, I’m assuming that it will never rust, that said though, I still empty the pitcher fully while warm and dry it out. There are two sets of 3 small holes in the lid rim to allow for airflow. They also allow for easy dumping of extra water and should prevent any buildup of pressure or closed up smells inside the carafe. The base remains cool and looks purposeful. I like the hold temp function.

I do not consider myself to be very picky when it comes to coffee, so I thought I wouldn’t taste a difference just by being careful about the temperature of the water… was I wrong! The name Precision fits, I tried different temps and found that I like 203f for my french press coffee maker. I love the feature that holds the temperature for 30 minutes, it allows me to enjoy several cups of tea at the perfect temp! so I use it morning and evening!

I have been using electric kettles for over 20 years, but this one is by far my favorite. I like the digital controls, and having a normal thermometer in the lid makes it easy to see how hot your water still is even after the base is turned off. It’s great that it has a chime when you hit your target temperature. No more forgetting your kettle when it is ready. The stainless steel exterior looks more high end than my other stainless steel kettle. It is smaller than my old plastic kettle, but since I normally make drinks for just one or 2 people at a time, it is fine. I have used it to make tea and pour-over coffee with great success, and I love that I can change the target temperature depending on what I want to make. I wasn’t sure if it was worth the price but now that I’ve used it many times, I believe it is if you do a lot of different hot drinks.
