I only used it once to chop an onion, but so far so good. I can’t attest to battery life, but I can say that it is very convenient. I have 2 other food processors, an 11-cup one and a small 2-cup one. The 11-cup one works well, however, it’s a pain in the butt to take out and assemble and clean and put away. The 2-cup one is small and also does the job, but too small to hold larger quantities. So far, the 5-cup has proven to be just what I need.

My wife and I got a small chopper during a Christmas party one time and we’ve loved having it. We came across this KitchenAid 5 cup (which is 4 cups larger than the one we have) and it has been amazing to have! We used to have to chop all the ingredients one by one, but now we just toss it all in and it cuts down on our time tremendously. We’ve only used it for chopping really, but we have used it to purée some ingredients as well and does so without a problem!I highly recommend this for any kitchen!!

I absolutely love this chopper! This is so helpful with my arthritis, I can put my veggies or fruits right in a select what kind of chop I want and i can take this with me if i wanted! Just charge it and wallla its portable! I love being able to take it in the dinning room without a cord ! I recommend this to everyone! It’s easy to use and not loud like others I’ve tried.

This cordless chopper is powerful , I was able to chop large chunks of onions in seconds without the motor bogging down. The charge lasts through several uses and charges quickly. It includes a whisking blade and the top allows you to pour liquids in which makes blending oils and salad dressings very easy. This will be my go to machine for chopping , no need to bring out the heavy food processor !

After giving the chopper a chance to charge, I tried it out on making pesto. Unfortunately, my kitchen countertop seems to be a catchall and so it is nice to have portability with this countertop appliance. This chopper is to be able to take on chopping 1″ cubes of beef and also nuts, but with the top of the drive adaptor only a small plastic post, I am a little scared to use foods that are that hard. This chopper seems great to chop small batches of onions, tomatoes, garlic, spinach leaves, and things of that nature. I think it would be nice to make a vinagrette and it would be great to chop up cookies or graham crackers.

I am so impressed with this chopper. I made smoothies and whipped cream almost right out of the box. I charged the unit for about 5 minutes and started puréeing some frozen fruit and ice for the smoothies. Then I whipped up some heavy whipping cream to top them off. The chopper is fast and powerful for a cordless unit. It rinsed off in a breeze ready to use again. It’s so portable and compact that I can leave it on the counter or tuck it away in a drawer or cabinet. So much more convenient for me to use on a daily basis than having to lug out the big food processor and plug it in. This will be my go to chopper from now on.

Works well, but there is no case. The manual shows one, but there is only styrofoam packing.

I had doubts that a cordless chopper would have enough power to actually effectively chop anything but this KitchenAid product worked flawlessly. I used it to dice onions, mushrooms, zucchini and pork and it chopped everything to the size I wanted. I like it better than my full size food processor and I will get a lot of use out of it.

The KitchenAid cordless chopper is so easy to use. It was ready to go right out if the box. I like that it has a guard to prevent you from getting cut by the blades as well as it’s cordless and can be charged as needed. It was also very easy to wipe down and keep clean. I would recommend this for any kitchen, as it’s a must have!

I have never used any type of chopper before. I’ve always cut/chopped by hands. I should of bought a chopper a long time ago, I would of saved so much time cooking. It does a great job chopping and its easy to use. I’ve use it for onions, cheese, carrots, celery and much more. And its easy to clean.

This chopper is amazing. I love the fact that ita coordless and i can use it on a sectuon of countertop that doesnt have an outlet. And in general that i can move it to where i want it to be in the process of cooking. I have been finidng all kinds of meals to cook to use this. Its super fast, works well, and great over all product!

I thought it was worth the extra money to invest in the cordless model. My counters aren’t as strapped for outlet space, it charges fast, and has a decent capacity. Securing the lid and locking in the device is tricky at times but overall not a big deal. Sometimes the blade sticks with frozen items so make sure your liquid balance is suitable.

I have been using this for grating parmesan cheese fresh and it works nice. There is a tiny sound and delay when you press the handle to start it but as long as that does not interfere with the functionality of it that is fine. The cordless feature is nice also; I switched from the 7 cup processor to this because I have had 2 of the 7 cup ones stop working for me.
