Was teaching my daughter how to use it and pushed the on button twice and the onion was chopped! Easy to clean.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Great product. Just right for those smaller jobs. No more crying when chopping up onions! Cordless makes it convenient to use anywhere in the kitchen.

This is a good chopper for small kitchens. The build quality seems good enough. It is black so can fit in with other eqpt. The blades seem sharp enough to last a while alongside decent torque. Kitchen aid has been around a while so should be decent quality

I thought it was worth the extra money to invest in the cordless model. My counters aren’t as strapped for outlet space, it charges fast, and has a decent capacity. Securing the lid and locking in the device is tricky at times but overall not a big deal. Sometimes the blade sticks with frozen items so make sure your liquid balance is suitable.

We received the cordless chopper and haven’t used it lol. followed the instructions step by step but our chopper just will not turn on. We even have it plugged in, so the battery is not the issue. Hate to give this anything less that 3 stars since we haven’t actually used it.

Another great product from Kitchen Aid. Compact size that fits neatly on the counter making it quick and easy to use when cooking dinner and need to chop onions, make pesto, salsa or dressings. Makes easy work of whipping cream too. The bowl is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

I love this cordless chopper. It cuts my choppong time in half. I can prepare toss salad, pasta salad and a variety of casseroles in the fraction the time. I can conveniently cut fruits for pies and cakes. This kichenaid is awesome and put the enjoyment back in cutting fruits and vegetables.

I Love to cook and I’m always on the lookout for appliances and products that can help make my life easier. The KitchenAde 5 cup cordless chopper makes it So much easier to get supper on the table. Instead of talking time to chop onions by hand it’s so easy and fast to add them into the chopper and they’re finely chopped in seconds. I’ve used it for chopping nuts, onions, carrots and zucchini. It’s so easy to use and being able to add it to my dishwasher after I’m done is great! It being cordless makes it easy not to worry about having to find a plug-in in small kitchens

There are just 2 of us so this is perfect for salsa, ham salad, shrimp burgers. I love the ease of storage and no parts to lose.

First of all, the brand (KitchenAid) is awesome! We are so happy to have this chopper. It makes things, mainly the onions, a lot easier to handle. Getting the lid on was tricky though, hopefully other products don’t have parts like that, haha. We use it on the kitchen table but the size is perfect for a small counter, etc. It is definitely worth a try!

My kitchen has only 2 outlets for all of my gadgets so when I need to do anything I am constantly plugging and un-plugging things. This chopped being cordless was a game changer for me because I was able to chop anywhere in my kitchen. It was awesome! I made a big batch of salsa without losing power.

This is a big improvement over my last KitchenAid Chopper (a 3.5 cup, corded unit) for a host of reasons. Love that it’s cordless – allows me to use it in more places and to move it around as needed. Extra capacity means that I’m usually completing the task in one installment, rather than having to go through the process multiple times to get the quantity I need. A concern I often have with cordless products is that the charges don’t last long enough and every time you use them you need to recharge midstream. No problem with this model so far. It’s a quick charge and has made it entirely through every meal prep I’ve tackled. Nice appliance, and good looking to boot!

I made three separate salsas and still didn’t need to charge it! Setup was a breeze and it was very easy to use. The power really did surprise me and I didn’t need to use much to get the consistency of a traditional Mexican salsa. I love the sleek matte design and it takes up minimal counter top space. I have used the chooper 5 or 6 times now and it is still working great. I mostly have chopped fruits, vegetables and nuts. I love this thing, thank you KitchenAid.

After giving the chopper a chance to charge, I tried it out on making pesto. Unfortunately, my kitchen countertop seems to be a catchall and so it is nice to have portability with this countertop appliance. This chopper is to be able to take on chopping 1″ cubes of beef and also nuts, but with the top of the drive adaptor only a small plastic post, I am a little scared to use foods that are that hard. This chopper seems great to chop small batches of onions, tomatoes, garlic, spinach leaves, and things of that nature. I think it would be nice to make a vinagrette and it would be great to chop up cookies or graham crackers.

This KitchenAid 5 Cup Cordless Food chopper is pretty nice. It’s a convenient size, not too big or too small for the kitchen counter and it can be stored in my cabinets standing straight up. It has a charger and a small light will turn green when it is ready to use. When the battery is low the color will change yellow. I have it in black which matches my other appliances. When I first received this food chopper I immediately opened the box anxious to try it out. I couldn’t figure out how to remove the lid so I definitely needed to read the directions. Twisting the lid to the left opened the top. I will say it was a little tricky putting the attachments in the correct way for it to chop. You will know if it’s in wrong because it won’t chop anything it will just be making noise. I fumbled with it a few times until I put the blade in correctly. If you are trying to dice something I suggest using the first setting number 1 which is low power and press and release the top of the handle several times until the item is chopped to your liking. I diced strawberries then I used the second setting number 2 which is high power and pressed and held that to make a purée mixture. The parts are easy to clean. Overall I like the chopper. I feel like it is a good addition to my kitchen and will save time especially once I learn to correctly assemble it on the first attempt. If you hate cutting onions by hand this KitchenAid 5 cup Cordless Chopper would be great for you.

I received this product in the Blue Velvet colour and I love the cordless feature and 5 cup work bowl. Anytime I want to quickly chop something I can pull it out and don’t have to fuss with finding space near a plug! The battery charge lasts for several uses, up to 40 onions on a full charge! It makes my food prep so quick and easy!#kitchenaidemployeereview

Works well, but there is no case. The manual shows one, but there is only styrofoam packing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed having this chopper. It has cut down on my meal prep time and I am able to chop veggies for the week. My partner has enjoyed using it as well to make his fruit smoothies for the week. I highly recommend this tool as it is a life safer!
