I love kitchen aid brand and I was excited to try this out. It took me a minute to figure it all out but once I got it charged good I decided to chop up an onion and it worked pretty well. I still had a few big chunks but I mixed it around and it worked great.

This innovative kitchen gadget is a very welcome addition to the existing tools I use in the kitchen. Being quite short of space, and even shorter when it comes to electrical outlets, cordless is the way to go as far as I am concerned. It took less than the recommended two hours for the chopper to charge and, once I had washed and dried the components before first use, it was time for action. I tried chopping various foodstuffs including apples, onions, and carrots, all of which turned out great. You can regulate the size of the chopped item by pressing the on/pulse switch intermittently. This is located at the top of the handle. I also made myself a banana milkshake using the whisk accessory by adding bananas, milk, and a dollop of ice cream. The food chopper is not overly loud as far as appliances go and is plenty large enough for the types of food chopping I need to do.From a portability perspective, the food chopper is very light and is easily transportable from location to location. The benefits of it being cordless are obvious. I have the black and silver version which matches the other appliances in the kitchen.I need a new blender and a new hand mixer which are also available as cordless appliances in this range. Time to break out the wallet.

I am so impressed with this chopper. I made smoothies and whipped cream almost right out of the box. I charged the unit for about 5 minutes and started puréeing some frozen fruit and ice for the smoothies. Then I whipped up some heavy whipping cream to top them off. The chopper is fast and powerful for a cordless unit. It rinsed off in a breeze ready to use again. It’s so portable and compact that I can leave it on the counter or tuck it away in a drawer or cabinet. So much more convenient for me to use on a daily basis than having to lug out the big food processor and plug it in. This will be my go to chopper from now on.

I received this product in the Blue Velvet colour and I love the cordless feature and 5 cup work bowl. Anytime I want to quickly chop something I can pull it out and don’t have to fuss with finding space near a plug! The battery charge lasts for several uses, up to 40 onions on a full charge! It makes my food prep so quick and easy!#kitchenaidemployeereview

As an owner of our corded 3.5-cup chopper for a few years, I have been enjoying using this new 5-cup cordless food chopper for a few months now. It is easy to use, easy to store (comes with a storage case), and easy to clean. What I particularly love about this new cordless chopper is that it runs for a LONG time without charging it. You may place it anywhere you would like in your kitchen, without looking for a plug/charging station. Similar to the 3.5-cup chopper, when the lid is securely closed, the chopper may then be turned on for personal safety reasons. I love how a green light illuminates when the chopper is on and is doing its job. It comes with a whisking accessory for making a small batch of whip cream while my stand mixer is working on a big batch of dough. Highly recommended to those who are shopping for a small space food processor/chopper. 🙂 #whirlpoolemployee

I have always hated to cut things but this has made it so easy for me to cut things and add them right to my meal. It cuts great and super fast. I no longer cut anything by hand, I put everything in here to cut it. This machine is amazing, I want to get one for my mother to help her in her kitchen.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this right before salsa making so tested it out pretty good when I got it. I really like it. Loved the cordless. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was because when you filled it full , for example, with celery, it really ended up mushing it up instead of a small diced pieces because it took awhile for the pieces on top to get to bottom where blades are so over chopped everything.

I only used it once to chop an onion, but so far so good. I can’t attest to battery life, but I can say that it is very convenient. I have 2 other food processors, an 11-cup one and a small 2-cup one. The 11-cup one works well, however, it’s a pain in the butt to take out and assemble and clean and put away. The 2-cup one is small and also does the job, but too small to hold larger quantities. So far, the 5-cup has proven to be just what I need.

I was very excited to receive this processor, our previous one was at least 7 years old! My husband does the majority of the chopping, he loves that this one is easy to use and easy to clean! He’s secretly started adding onions to our meals, and thankfully I hardly notice! Can’t wait to find new recipes we can use the processor for!

I brought kitchen aid cordless chopperthis a couple weeks ago and I love it. No more burning and tearing eyes. So much quicker than using a knife. Made my cooking so much easier and faster, and no more cramping of the hands

My wife and I got a small chopper during a Christmas party one time and we’ve loved having it. We came across this KitchenAid 5 cup (which is 4 cups larger than the one we have) and it has been amazing to have! We used to have to chop all the ingredients one by one, but now we just toss it all in and it cuts down on our time tremendously. We’ve only used it for chopping really, but we have used it to purée some ingredients as well and does so without a problem!I highly recommend this for any kitchen!!

Although I needed a food chopper, I was hesitate about getting one. I was worried about where I was going to store it. Well, it’s so compact that it can fit nicely on a shelf and I love the fact that I can use my chopper anywhere since I don’t have to be near an outlet. But turns out I rarely store it because I find myself using it on a daily basis. Some may consider it a little pricey, but it is worth its weight in gold. I love my new appliance.. NO REGRETS!

After giving the chopper a chance to charge, I tried it out on making pesto. Unfortunately, my kitchen countertop seems to be a catchall and so it is nice to have portability with this countertop appliance. This chopper is to be able to take on chopping 1″ cubes of beef and also nuts, but with the top of the drive adaptor only a small plastic post, I am a little scared to use foods that are that hard. This chopper seems great to chop small batches of onions, tomatoes, garlic, spinach leaves, and things of that nature. I think it would be nice to make a vinagrette and it would be great to chop up cookies or graham crackers.

I liked the idea of cordless chopper so we could take when we go to the lake or camping but wasn’t sure how powerful it would be. So I tried it out it at home and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I normally buy pecans already crushed for my coffee cake recipe but was not able to find them in the store so bought whole pecans and used the chopper to get pecan chips. So easy I will be doing this from now on. Clean up was easy and with no cord you can use anywhere. LOVE IT!
