(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got this for my Professional 6-Quart Bowl-Lift mixer about a year ago. It helps With creaming butter while it scrapes the sides of the bowl. It gets all way to the bottom of the bowl and up to the top,it helps a lot with smaller batches that seems to be when I have to scrape the sides more. It saves some much time not having to stop the mixer and scrape the sides of the bowl all the time. this is such a great product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The white coating started chipping off during use, so I can’t use it anymore, and had to throw out that batch of batter. I’m almost positive I bought it just over a year ago, so it would no longer be under warranty, and I’m not sure what caused it to start chipping unless it hit the side of the bowl somehow. I have mixed emotions because for the past year I absolutely loved the flex edge beater, and used it ALL the time with my mixer, but I’m disappointed it only lasted a year before chipping.
