I have a professional Kitchen Aid mixer. I had to buy this porwerful machine because I make whole wheat bread and the Atisan model mixer could not handle the load. I have used the awesine mixer for over a decade and the grain grinder for about 5-6 years. I suspect the burrs of the grain grinder are shedding tiny tiny pieces of metal into the flour and just this morning I cleaned the burrs with a tooth pick and noticed tiny nicks on the burrs. Has anyone else seen this and is there any solution suggestions?

My husband surprise me with the Kitchen Aid for my birthday and I’m so happy that he did; I’v become a great chef, my cakes are now softer and don’t even get me started on the buttercreams!

I am 55 years old and grew up with homemade crusty Italian loaves of bread. Over many years I tried over and over again to bake my own bread without success. I gave up, until recently when I heard the news about the nasty ingredients going into commercial bread. I decided that being able to bake a loaf of bread should be on my bucket list. My brother gifted me with a Kitchen Aid Mixer and oh…my…gosh! I am now baking beautifully delicious loaves. Thank you Kitchen Aid for making bread baking so easy.

This is an excellent product for grinding my grains for gluten-free bread. I can even make some of my flours finer than I purchased. My husband loved it too and he even took over grinding my grains! Worth my purchase!!

Having owned the original KitchenAid Grain Mill for 40 years or so, I was delighted to find this one so much better, able to grind to a useful fineness. One caution: don’t set at the finest grind without testing. If you can’t turn the shaft by hand, use the next finest or you may damage your mixer.

I’m a retired police officer (38 years) and a chef / baker wannabe. This machine is the ultimate culinary power tool . I find myself looking for things to do that would require the use of the mixer. I give it two thumbs up.

I have always been a baker and used the regular hand mixers till they died. I am so happy with the Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer I got for Christmas last year!! My hubby is happy too because I have ventured out from just baking now!! I would love to get all of the attachments and eventually have a Kitchen Aid Kitchen! The only thing I don’t like is when I have something “chunky” it sounds like my mixer is going to “jump” off the counter.

I ground dent corn into cornmeal. Made fresh organic, no GMO cornmeal. I love Kitchenaid anything and was so happy Home Depot had it and also had the best price. I would recommend grain mill.
