I can’t recommend this model enough! I love it! I used my KitchenAid immersion blender almost every single day for 6 years, and only just now am I in the market for a new blender. I fully believe this puppy would’ve lasted another 6 years, but I stripped the connecting gear while making a recipe yesterday; so it was fully user error.

I find that I have to use it carefully, otherwise the blender portion becomes disconnected from the motor portion. It does not attach securely, even when installed properly. It was also missing the cup lid when purchased snd the manual refers to a n attachment to protect your pots and pans which the product did not include.
