I bought this appliance 1 month ago to replace one that I have used for many years. The old one still works; but the release button sticks. Hard for my 70 year old arthritic hands. This one is great. Love the red. But more so, the release button works easily. So I hope this one lasts as long as the first one! One of my grandchildren will be using it.

I am impressed with the power of this mixer. While I love my full-size Kitchen Aid mixer, it is nice to not always have to get that out. The 7 speed hand mixer has enough power to whip up egg whites for meringue!
