The first thing I used these for was to slice bread, I bake my own and it did a beautiful job, sliced all the way through and didn’t crumble at all. The balance and weight are just perfect for all of them. I love the built in knife sharpener. They are dishwasher safe and so far have held up well and still look new. The fact that they look great on the counter doesn’t hurt either!

When I opened the box I thought wow these are attractive then holding the grip I noticed how comfortable it felt in my hand. I chop and slice a lot, stews, soups, roasts,etc, and my hand doesn’t get tired (no cramping, lol). The bread knife wors well and is just the right length, I have other longer bread knives and they are awkard, that being said I wished the Santoku was much larger, It works for cutting crossways (like carrots) but to short to cut lengthways (like cutting a big raw russet potato in 1/2 for twice baked.). The sharpener built into the block is a nice touch, and having it so accessible is a nice reminder to sharpen more often!

I bought this knife set a month ago. I have used every single one, and tried the sharpener out on a old knife. These are amazing. They hold up well. Have a nice weight to them, but not to heavy. Cuts everything with ease. Makes cooking a total breeze. Wash up nice. And looks stunning on my counter. The sharpener worked awesome as well. A definite for any kitchen.

Ive only had them a couple of weeks so far they came very sharp and they are sturdy the blade is not flimsy. The knives have some weight too them compared to others not too heavy or too light. Overtime we will see how they hold up and can update.
