Kitchen Aid’s KMT2116OB 2-slice toaster, in onyx black, features simple, programmable, start-to-finish toasting. The extra-wide slots will accept the thickest bagels, breads, or pastries and the extra-deep, steel toasting cavity ensures even browning. The racks automatically adjust the slot width for thick or thin slices, keeping food upright for even toasting. Selecting the bagel toasting function reduces the power on one side of the heating elements by 50% to produce a better toasted bagel. With the defrost button, frozen pastries can be toasted to perfection in minutes. The keep warm mode keeps bread warm for up to 3 minutes after toasting. The peek and see function allows you to check on your food without stopping the toasting process. When your food is ready, the high lift lever makes it easy to get it out of the toaster. The reheat setting quickly reheats toasted food in under a minute. Plus, the adjustable 7-shade setting ensures your food will pop up just the way you like it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When I was visiting my brother, his toaster was great. Mine only roasted half the slice of bread. This one toast the best.

I had to return the toaster from Kitchen aid that is priced at about 50 dollars twice. They gladly would have replaced it as it was still under warranty but I asked if I could upgrade. Although it cost me another 30 dollars it is well worth it. The new toaster works quickly, with even toasting and the model weighs about 3 lbs more and feels sturdy.

I really like this product. The price you pay for the quality you obtain is ok.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was excited about the fact that my toast would be toasted. Well even on the highest setting it’s not browning. I have to put it back in and put it to 2. Then it’s done.

This toaster is so good, it will be the last one I purchase. What can I say about it? It’s outside is easy to clean and is made of durable stainless steel with a matt finish. The pop out crumb tray is amazing and easy to clean. All of the modes, including bagel, is amazing and I’ve never had a burnt piece of toast or bagel because it is well designed with wide openings far enough away from the heating elements. The power cord is sturdy and the right length for any kitchen. I love this toaster and will never purchase another one again.

Just purchased recently so I’ve only used it a few times. Really like the audio feature when toasting is finished.

Even toasting and sleek design fits the bill. Like that it has a bagel setting. Wide enough to accommodate as well. What I like the most is that the controls are placed on the wider part of toaster versus side.

I bought this toaster first off it’s kitchenaid and all of my kitchen appliances are kitchenaid. Then I loved the way it looks sitting on my counter! It sits up against the was instead of coming away from the wall! What a space saver!

I bought this because I trust the brand and it looked very retro but cool. There is a learning curve to getting the perfect toast out of this machine you have to play with the dials a bit.

I bought the KitchenAid toaster last month. Compared to other toasters costing a lot less this is worth spending the extra money. The toaster toast things to perfection, no burning smells, easy to use.

Recently we bought this toaster after returning Cuisinart brand just a month ago. Cuisinart is not a bad brand but the toaster we bought just doesn’t function the way they should. I saw this beautiful red Kitchen Aid toaster and so far so good.

It’s a wonderful toaster we love it. It has a alarm that beeps to let you know your toast is up. Nice quality and I’ve always been a fan of Kitchenaid. My last one was a Kitchenaid and it lasted 13 years and still worked just the handle fell off the cleaning tray and the push down. Buy one!
