Kitchen Aid’s KMT2116OB 2-slice toaster, in onyx black, features simple, programmable, start-to-finish toasting. The extra-wide slots will accept the thickest bagels, breads, or pastries and the extra-deep, steel toasting cavity ensures even browning. The racks automatically adjust the slot width for thick or thin slices, keeping food upright for even toasting. Selecting the bagel toasting function reduces the power on one side of the heating elements by 50% to produce a better toasted bagel. With the defrost button, frozen pastries can be toasted to perfection in minutes. The keep warm mode keeps bread warm for up to 3 minutes after toasting. The peek and see function allows you to check on your food without stopping the toasting process. When your food is ready, the high lift lever makes it easy to get it out of the toaster. The reheat setting quickly reheats toasted food in under a minute. Plus, the adjustable 7-shade setting ensures your food will pop up just the way you like it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I did some comparison shopping and decided to get the Kitchen Aid. It was a bit more expensive but worth. It looks fantastic as well as working perfectly especially the keep warm feature.

This toaster includes different levels depending of how “toasty” my family want their breakfast. It’s a good-looking appliance, but also a good one in quality. Highly recommended.

The toaster looks great in our kitchen. Very functional! The red color looks great with the gray tones of our backsplash.

Bought it very recently. Toast has round light spots and sides of bread toast differently. Very attractive toaster with good features.

This has been in my home for a few weeks, we have toasted everything from regular sliced bread, to Bagels, to English muffins. It has worked wonderfully in all cases. The Bagel feature is probably my favorite. We purchased the silver one, which matches are KitchenAid mixer perfectly. It is lightweight yet feels very well made.

Had it for about a month, one of the best I have ever had. It cost more than any other toaster I have had, but it is worth it. Heavy so it stays in place, makes toast just the way I like it. It also matches my mixer, so they both look good.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love the look of my new KitchenAid Toaster. Not only does it look great; it takes no time at all to toast my bread. It’s everything you want in a toaster!

Good looking toaster, easy to see front controls, toast evenly & you don’t have to jamb down the lever to lock it to toast. Nice easy smooth operation.

Nice toaster, fastest toaster I’ve ever used. 4 *’s only because of a shipping delay

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am still a big fan of the Sunbeam Radiant toaster of the ’70s. But as good things end, I needed to replace my old toaster. The KitchenAid 2-slice toaster, with its 1,200watt, is the only toaster I’ve seen coming near to the old Sunbeam toasters (bread toasted outside but still soft inside, in comparison with most modern toasters that completely dry the bread oustide AND inside). I really love my KitchenAid 2-slice Toaster. Not to mention the awesome look and color, that fits perfectly with other Empire Red KitchenAid products ! Finally, it toasts very fast which is very appreciated 🙂 !

This toaster has a crumb tray for easy cleaning, it has an easy to use dial for adjusting settings, and it has wide slots for different types of bread. The pull level is also easy to use. It works beautifully, and the color matches other appliances too.

I love this toaster! Beautiful design. The bagel feature is wonderful, as is the keep warm feature. The lift-up lever is great, too. This toaster toasts my bread much faster than my old one.

Very nice product; sturdily built; very distinctive style; jet black and polished steel is both retro and contemporary…very cool design and very good toasting functions.
