The extra-wide slots will accept the thickest bagels, breads, or pastries and the extra-deep, steel toasting cavity ensures even browning. The racks automatically adjust the slot width for thick or thin slices, keeping food upright for even toasting. Selecting the bagel toasting function reduces the power on one side of the heating elements by 50% to produce a better toasted bagel. With the defrost button, frozen pastries can be toasted to perfection in minutes. The keep warm mode keeps bread warm for up to 3 minutes after toasting. The peek and see function allows you to check on your food without stopping the toasting process. When your food is ready, the high lift lever makes it easy to get it out of the toaster. The reheat setting quickly reheats toasted food in under a minute. Plus, the adjustable 7-shade setting ensures your food will pop up just the way you like it.

This toaster was close to $100 and it doesn’t work as good as my $20 toaster. It looks really nice on the counter but getting the colour of toast you want is hard as you can only adjust by 1 number (clicks from 1 to 2 to 3 etc…no in between). I also find bagels get stuck in there. Maybe not wide enough? I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going for looks alone.

I purchased this Kitchenaid toaster a few months ago. I had grown weary of all my other toasters not toasting the same on both sides and being unpredictable as to how it would toast the bread each time even when dialed to a certain setting. No worries with this baby! The beep it makes right before the toast pops up took a little getting used to, but now it’s just part of my morning. And it’s RED – gotta love that!

Okay toaster…. just a few things stand out for me personally –1) Sleek design, but kind of large2) Bulky cord that is difficult to hide behind the toaster3) My much cheaper toaster probably did just as good a job4) Toast cannot be popped up manually

Got this a month ago… directions were a cinch! Love the “warm” feature, which means you can keep toasted items warm for u to 5 minutes! Great idea! Bagel button helpful.Only thing I don’t like(and no explanation of any kind in pamphlet) the “beep!” EVERY time the toast pops up…its loud and annoying. Would like to disarm that! But how?Otherwise, it’s perfect!

I got this as a Christmas present. I have used it a few times since I received it. I am still trying to figure out the right settings. I have noticed that toast does not brown evenly on both sides and using it multiple times in a row tends to make the toast get browner each time

I really like the defrost-to-toast feature. I keep bread, English muffins, etc, in the freezer and the toaster defrosts and toasts perfectly. I also like the fact that the toast can be crispy, not simply warm bread. Cleanup is a breeze given the easily accessible crumb tray. I bought this over a month ago and am very pleased with how it works and that it’s the nicest looking toaster I’ve ever owned. It is consistent with everything I toast, but be sure to use less time with dryer breads. It is very easy to burn dryer bread types so use setting 2 versus 4 accordingly. Pay attention and make some mental notes with your favorite breads.
