I bought this toaster a month ago and I am so happy Idid. I make my own bread, and, with most toasters the top never gets toasted. With KitchenAid toaster they brown so nice. I can also to bagels too. I have owned KitchenAid mixer for 35 years but this was my first toaster. Greatest Toaster Ever Make.

Bought this 5 months ago. Nice toaste,r but takes quite longer to toast than the toaster it replaced, which had similar size features and watt power. The most annoying thing are the two lever side by side, either we don’t use the right one to push the toasts down or we just ‘snag’ the setting lever. Well, with time I guess we will adjust.

Pretty color. the only downside for me is i have poor eyesight and there is not enough contrast in text and icon color. like the different options for different thicknesses.

Just got it 10 days ago, and have been using this everyday since. It is great size Toaster, fits really good on my counter top, does not take so much space, and since I can keep it out, I can use it everyday! it toast both sides of my bread or bagel, very modern design.

Very happy with the weight of this toaster. My last toaster was too light, as it slid around on the counter too easily when lever was pushed down. This one really has substance.

Toasts evenly. Has a proper timer for consistent browning control.

It’s not absolutely perfect. This toaster really toasts, so you do have to figure what settings you need to not get very dark toast and I’m not sure how it would do if you prefer light toast (I prefer mine on the dark side), but I’ll take having to figure settings out any day to a toaster that barely gets toast warm and doesn’t even do that if you don’t pop the toast back down two or three times. Really, I’ve been very disappointed in the toasters I’ve had — none of them cheap either. But none of them worked nearly as well as this one: none of them toasted evenly front to back, not to mention up and down, and this one does! I’m very pleased.

We received the toaster as a Christmas Gift. Two long slices of bread fit in it and it works great!

It’s a toaster. It toasts bread and stuff. When you put the bread into it and push the lever down it makes toast. We really like KitchenAid products, which is why we got this one. The only improvements I’d suggest are an auditory signal when the toasting cycle is done and making the “high-lift” lever actually able to lift the toast above the top of the toasting slot.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’ve only been using this toaster for about 1 month. So far so good. I love the wide slot that allows us to toast long bread slices. The bagel option is a real bonus.Problem: you need a magnifying glass to be able to make sense of the options menu…it’s very difficult to read: lots of guessing and finger crossing required to make toast.

The fit and finish of this toaster are really excellent, and it does a beautiful job toasting bagels with its special bagel setting. Because of the single slot that is long and wide, you can fit large slices of round-loaf bread such as sourdough into it without a problem. Probably one of the nicest features is the “a little more” button which, if you press it, toasts your bread just a little bit more (rather than operating a full additional toasting cycle) so you can get your toast just the way you want it. Its long and narrow shape seems to take up very little counter space. Overall, very nice.

Gave it a 4 star because it doesn’t always toast all the slice of bread unless it is set to highest toast level. Perfect thin/long size for area where I have it

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have always bee happy with my KitchenAid appliances but this one is a disappointment. The Shade selector is not effective. Unfortunately it’s a couple of days past the date that I can exchange it, which is what I would like to do.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago to toast my gluten free bread. We use both white and whole grain breads of various sizes. After experimenting with the three types we like, we found that the regular shape loafs worked the best, which were the ones we toasted every time because they are ugly un toasted. The type we ate without toasting in the past also toasted up nicely. That loaf is longer and not as wide so we have to push the lever up a little to get the slice out. But the GF dark is really good toasted and fits this toaster much better than my old one.

This toaster is able to toast both sides of either toast or bagel evenly. Most toasters toast a bit differently on each side, however this appliance toasted evenly. Only thing that was confusing was that the selection icons vs. what was needed for regular toasting. It took a couple of tries to figure out that for regular toast you only have to pull the lever on the left down and not select one of the icons that looks like toast. The icons are only to defrost or warm up toast. Found that setting right in the middle resulted in perfect toast every time. Really liked that it was long and narrow, as I was able to place it against the counter wall and still have a lot of space to work – the appliance is very attractive and looks nice on my counter. i have been hiding away my toaster in a cupboard, only bringing it out to use, but this appliance is nice enough to leave out. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
