I received this toaster for free from KitchenAid in exchange for use and review. This toaster is so amazing. I love bagels for breakfast and my bagels use to get over toasted in the center and bottom in my regular toaster. This KitchenAid has a bagel button and actually knew where to toast – upper, lower half, or middle. You can actually see the heating coils moving around the toasting area. It’s intuitive. The most perfectly toasted bagel I’ve ever had. I also love the varying shades of toasting. Works for bollitos, bagels, and toaster strudels are perfect. Great product! Thanks, KitchenAid

I have used the toaster a few times now and it just keeps being wonderful. I was worried with it only having two slots to toast, but actually the slots are large enough you can toast two slices on each side. The bagel and warm up are wonderful functions. There are times in the morning when I toast my bagel and get busy, forget about it. So I use the warm up and it is warm, but not over toasted.

I loved my old antique toastmaster, purchased at a home sale in 1971, but it was limited to size of item toasted. I loved that I would hear a click prior to being finished. The toast was always perfect! My husband wanted a new toaster that could accommodate linger and thicker breads, so I researched the internet and picked the 4 slice long slot toaster with high lift lever. It is a perfect replacement. I love the versatility the toaster has to offer. I could not have made a better choice. It looks great sitting on the counter and my husband loves it. I look like a hero!

4 slice toaster. Was disappointed that when you only want to toast 2 pieces of bread, both sides of the toaster come on. I would have thought one side would switch off or one side was just for two pieces of bread to be toasted.

Received the product for free from KitchenAid as long as I was willing to review it. Have had the toaster for roughly 3 weeks now. So far I’d have to say I really like the toaster. It’s easy to use and has plenty of toasting options. My wife and kids like their toast light and I like mine dark. I eat bagels 2 or 3 times a week and this toaster handles them like a champ. Fits a large New York bagel with no issue and will even toast it evenly when it starts frozen. It is a large toaster so make sure you have the room for it before deciding to buy.

Bought this a couple months ago and so far it’s been really good. Love the extra length and option to raise the toaster items up higher. It’s a tad loud when toasting sometimes, but I’m guessing that’s just until it gets broken in more.

I’ve had this toaster for about two weeks, and I love it! I make toast almost every day. I use a wider whole grain bread that I used to have to bend a bit to get into my old toaster. That is no longer the case! Each slot on this KitchenAid toaster is wide enough for two regular slices of bread or one extra wide slice. I found it easy to use, the toast can be lifted when done, it has a defrost feature, a bagel feature, a reheat feature, and looks very nice with my stainless and black kitchen appliances. The only thing I would recommend when purchasing this toaster, is to consider how much counter space you have. If you are going from a 2 slice toaster to this one, the larger footprint might surprise you. However, I would definitely recommend this toaster to anyone looking for a good quality product that can toast wider slices or 4 regular slices at a time.

Our old toaster forced us to cut artisan style loaf slices in half to fit. Not this toaster! We thought we might end up sacrificing the ability for two people to have regular slices toasting at the same time but we needn’t have worried. The slots manage that just fine. Slimmer profile is nice, even if it is a bit longer. Even toasting is also a nice benefit.

My previous toaster is several years old and very basic so in comparison this toaster has many great features. The toaster is attractive and lightweight especially for it’s size. Especially like the defrost feature as well as the ability to toast longer slices of bread as well as bagels and thicker slices of bread. Self explanatory and easy to use controls for all features. Appreciate the ability to instantly stop toasting by pushing a button. The outside of the toaster does get a little warm which is surprising. At times the toast was a little darker on one side or the other but not drastically different. Like that the toast is done fairly quickly.

I am reviewing this product for KitchenAid. I toasted different breads, bagels and frozen waffles. It has some nice features like defrost and a little longer. My one problem was the edges of all things I toasted were considerably darker than the rest of the product, in some cases, almost burnt. Other than that it toasts just fine.
