The only negative thing I have found is the bowl cover only goes halfway around so things splash out of the uncovered area. When you’re making homemade butter, for example you need the whole top of the bowl covered or it makes a huge mess.

We just bought a stand mixer bowl lift and it works good so far. The manual says to go to the website to access the quick start guide and videos. The search feature on the website does not recognize Stand Mixer or the model number I just registered. When I try to use their search it only displays one mixer model that is a tilt head model. I hope I never need to use this website ever because I have never seen such a terrible and useless site. I will try YouTube I guess because kitchenaid.com is only interested in selling and not supporting their products

Received my mixer as a housewarming gift and it is incredible. I grew up using my mother’s tilt head KitchenAid so I knew I was going to purchase my own. I love the design and capabilities of the mixer, I’m excited to explore accessories. I’ve used it with the peeling attachment to make zoodles and it’s no problem. The only thing I’d like is if there was a way for the mixer to reach closer to the base of the bowl but that’s minimal. It is not a noisy mixer, clean up is east and it’s sturdy! It looks great out on the counter. I’m loving this mixer and would recommend it.
