Absolutely love it. Cuts down the time needed for a lot of recipes. Set it and come back later while something else needs to be heated. Best mate for the kitchen. It’s expensive as always and a little noisy but helps keep track so you don’t forget something. Still though. It is a staple you need in your kitchen. So many uses for it and can’t wait to buy the attachments.

I replaced my 20 year old Kitchen-Aid mixer and got the bigger version. The mixer walks across the counter when I make bread or the mixer has to work hard. Very disappointed. This is not a heavy duty machine.

Whether it’s creaming sugars and butter or kneading dough, it performs well. The way the bowl snaps into place takes a bit of getting used to as does the stationary head but I still give it 5 stars!

I wish they sold separate bowls for this kind in the stores as having to take off to clean in between recipe stages is a bit of work. The weld for the bowl fasteners can be seen in the bowl and could smoothed out a bit better based on the quality of the machine. I do hope it doesn’t begin to rust. The motor is plenty powerful and mixes the stiffest cookie dough with ease. It cuts mixing time down significantly. Would be nice if attachments were dishwasher safe.

The new mixer, lift stand, was added to handle larger capacity recipes; such as bread. The older appliance is perfect for the smaller recipes, and I still use it, the new mixer is excellent for my other larger recipes. There are other brands out there, for less money, but you only get what you pay for and I wanted the best. I am extremely happy with my new and old KitchenAid mixers.

After 17 years with my Kitchen Aid mixer it started making a clicking sound, just as i was making Christmas cookies..mot a good thing. Called for service and they were extremely friendly and helpful. Not wanting to be without a mixer for the holiday season I ordered another one. Love it. This is a replacement for a professional 5 that I wore out. The mixer is great so far, but two little issues. One the power cable is noticeable thinner, second is a considerably noisier. I also own a 7 quart mixer and the 6 qt is a lot louder than the 7.
