I love my new KitchenAid ice crushing blender. The first thing I thought I would make was a smoothie. It blended everything perfectly in one try. I didn’t have to stop, stir and restart to get everything perfectly blended. It is simple to use. Just one dial. The lid seals extremely well. Nothing leaks out. Cleaning was easy. Give it a rinse and put it in the dishwasher. This blender has everything. It works well, easy to use and it looks nice on my countertop.

This blender definitely lives up to its brand. My family and I love to get together for game night, and we always have drinks. This blender was the star of the night. Everyone dropped what they were doing to watch it in action. We were all in awe in the smooth sno-cone consistancy of the ice once it was crush. Worked so well we actually made sno-cones for the kids. The motor was very quiet and it did not dance across the counter. It was able to blend a good amount of ice with no problem. It works pretty well and is not too complicated – only 3 speeds. Nice looking and not too big; looks good on the counter and fits well. The issue I have with it is the lid – it is VERY difficult to take of (not so hard to put on). Works well for Margaritas but not so good for a Kale Smoothie!

I picked this blender to have to make smoothies for me as a snack or in the mornings. It does an excellent job with ice and frozen berries, getting them smooth and drinkable. The base was a bit bigger than I was expecting, but that shouldn’t hold a prospective buyer back. The base grips to the counter very well and doesn’t have issues trying to move away like some other units can. The pitcher with the blade and the lid all come off very easily and are a breeze to clean. We have other KitchenAid products as well (Coffee Machine, Stand Mixer)…and this blender is the high quality we have come to expect based on the standard our other products have set!

I used it to turn Frozen bananas and coconut cream into the best substitute for Ice Cream. It handled the frozen bananas like a champ without melting everything. Purees hot soup quickly without cooling it off.
