It has the right amount of functional flexibility (a low medium and high heat setting, with an optional timer, or an “on” setting that is essentially warming). Keeps it simple. Also EXTREMELY easy to clean. We’ve cooked ribs, chili, chicken parm, and more all in a matter of a few weeks! Couldn’t recommend more.

I got this as a gift. I had a crock pot brand for 15 years and the liner got dropped. So I had my heart set on a kitchenaid slow cooker. A friend of mine had one and raved about it. I love kitchenaid, I had many many kitchenaid appliances. Whats not to love? Its an investment. I used it the day i got it. stressed to my kids that do dishes “Do NOT touch the new crock!” I was the only one that handled it. The second time I used it upon washing it looked cracked on the bottom. I just figured it was the finish. The next time I used it the crack appeared inside the bottom. Again, I just figured it was the finish. 4th time I used it the buttons were sticking, but worse in the middle of cooking I hear this loud popping in the kitchen. I go in there, the liner was cracked in half in the middle of cooking! How did I know, you ask? Because the right side of the liner was literally laying down and the chili I had in it pouring out into the metal carrier. What the world!! I expected this thing to be the best thing since sliced bread, to be honest. I have never been so disappointed in a small appliance.

I bought this slow cooker because American Test Kitchen recommended it and they were right, It works so much better than the one it replaced we are very happy with it and would recommend it. It cost a little more but it is worth it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I needed a bigger Slow Cooker so bought the KitchenAid 6-Quart with solid glass lid. I wish I had bought sooner. Large enough to do double recipes. Cord is long enough that i can stand in numerous places in my kitchen so it is out of the way. Very stable. Love the digital timer so easy to read. I like that I can set any time I want not just the basic 4, 6, 8 and 10. Having the 4 temperature settings as well make my own recipe creation easy. I have had about 4 weeks and have used already at least twice a week.

My husband bought this product as part of my early Mother’s Day gift. During the quarantine I’ve been doing a lot of cooking and my old pot just wasn’t cutting it anymore. With this one chicken comes out juicer, meat comes out tender, and sauces have a more defined taste. There is even cooking throughout for a better cooking experience! Timer is the best feature. Once the time is done it goes to a keep warm feature and lets you know how long thereafter it’s been on the keep warm option. Worth the money to invest in this.
