No job is too big or too small with this mixer. I upgraded from my mother’s avocado green KA tilt mixer. I wanted to give my old to my 24 year old daughter. Upgrading got me to put it on the counter. I have done breads, cakes, tarts, but most exciting of all is shredding cheese in 1 minute with the shredder attachment!

Received this as a Christmas gift, and unfortunately the speed was twice as fast as what it should be. Therefore, the “stir” setting causes the mixer to run way too fast, flinging ingredients across the kitchen and making a huge mess. And this is not just flour, I’m talking a cup of melted butter splattered all over the place. Fortunately I was able to find a YouTube video and with a bit of fiddling with some screws I was able to fix it. I just don’t feel for the price of this machine that I should have had to fix it right out of the box!

As excited as I was to receive the 5 quart mixer, it did not work in any outlet when I plugged it in. I was so disappointed because I love and trust all my Kitchen Aid mixers.
