I just purchased my first KitchenAid stand mixer. When I unpacked the box, I was amazed that, after spending a lot of money on this mixer, that the wire whip was an oxidized aluminum, ugly attachment that I wouldn’t want to touch my food. Even after I washed it, it was very shabby and discolored. My question to KitchenAid is why did you cheap out on this attachment? This should be shiny stainless steel that you are not afraid to put in your food.

I absolutely LOVE my mixer! I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos on how to make bread and cookies, cakes, I use it to mix chicken salad. This amazing tool has taken the “chore” feeling out of cooking that is often get, resorting to the break n’ bake cookies instead. Fresh made-from-scratch bread is awesome, thank you kitchenaid for reigniting a love for cooking and being in the kitchen!

Love it so far and can’t wait to get more attachments to really get the most out of it! Mine came with a lid that has a spout to pour ingredients in… not sure I’ll use it but its there. The bowl doesn’t stick out real far, so adding ingredients while mixing is a bit cumbersome but overall it is so much better than using a hand mixer.

I had always heard so much about the Kitchenaid mixer that when I got one for Christmas I was ecstatic. I made bread for the first time ever using the hook and it worked great. The machine forever seemed…loose. I mean it rattled more than of thought it should. Maybe I was expecting to much, but when I watch all the how-to videos the machines they use seems a lot quieter.

I have always wanted a KitchenAid Stand Mixer and finally received one for Christmas. It was the gift of my dreams! I absolutely love its versatility and simplicity. Since Christmas, I’ve already made: carrot cake, icing, zucchini bread, sugar cookies, cheesecake, and pretzels. The pretzel dough was was very easy to make with the hook and paddle adjustments.
