I absolutely LOVE my mixer! I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos on how to make bread and cookies, cakes, I use it to mix chicken salad. This amazing tool has taken the “chore” feeling out of cooking that is often get, resorting to the break n’ bake cookies instead. Received this as a Christmas gift, and unfortunately the speed was twice as fast as what it should be. Therefore, the “stir” setting causes the mixer to run way too fast, flinging ingredients across the kitchen and making a huge mess. And this is not just flour, I’m talking a cup of melted butter splattered all over the place. Fortunately I was able to find a YouTube video and with a bit of fiddling with some screws I was able to fix it. I just don’t feel for the price of this machine that I should have had to fix it right out of the box!

It works well, except the head sometime shaking a bit too hard and make a bit loud noise. Tried to adjust based on online suggestions. Now is better, but still not fully steady. Tried to replace,but the current situation makes it hard. So bear with it, at least it still works. Hope it won’t getting worse later.

I just purchased my first KitchenAid stand mixer. When I unpacked the box, I was amazed that, after spending a lot of money on this mixer, that the wire whip was an oxidized aluminum, ugly attachment that I wouldn’t want to touch my food. Even after I washed it, it was very shabby and discolored. My question to KitchenAid is why did you cheap out on this attachment? This should be shiny stainless steel that you are not afraid to put in your food.

I was a little disappointed that the set didn’t include everything pictured in the ad on your site! The part missing was an attachment that looks like it would wipe the bowl side while it mixes. We could see in the packing where it would have been had it been packed correctly. It took away some of the excitement of getting the mixer… otherwise it works perfect

Love it so far and can’t wait to get more attachments to really get the most out of it! Mine came with a lid that has a spout to pour ingredients in… not sure I’ll use it but its there. The bowl doesn’t stick out real far, so adding ingredients while mixing is a bit cumbersome but overall it is so much better than using a hand mixer.
