I bought this to make homemade spaghetti sauce. I hooked up to my mini mixer(3.5), used the sauce filter and then did 60 Roma tomatoes quickly. The sauce was the perfect texture. And for the first time in my 66 years I made the best sauce of my life!!!!! Highly recommend.

This juicer is ok. Probably better for sauces as my juices typically all have pulp and strings (celery) in them… yes I use the strainer with the smallest holes. You do get 3 different sized strainers. I feel like the mixer isn’t powerful enough to properly juice. Def prep anything you’re putting in it, smaller pieces the better. I use it weekly, about every 2-3 days. I get inspiration from my fave juice places. Very easy to clean, assemble and disassemble. Had trouble attaching it to the mixer the first couple times, really gotta hold it in place while tightening the screw. Comes with a pulp catcher cup and a juice catching cup, that’s nice. Looking forward to composting my pulp when we have outdoor space. I’d only recommend this product to someone who already had the mixer and only wants to juice occasionally or would use it for sauces (which I’ve never done but assume it’d be better for that purpose). Otherwise, just get a high graded juicer for pulp free juice!

We’ve really enjoyed making juice in our attachment. We did have to send the original back and get it replaced, though. It jammed and then stopped working. We haven’t used the new one as much, but we haven’t had the same problem yet.

First time worked perfectly then locked up tight. Would not turn and mixer started making noise. Turned it off and found input shaft would not turn. Not wanting to send back and have the same issue again. I took it apart sanded the shaft and honed the surface that the shaft goes through. Greased everything since there was no grease to began with and has worked flawlessly since. Much more quiet now too. would advise they put a bronze bushing on the input shaft for smoother operation and longevity.

I had wanted to buy a slow juicer for some time now but the cost was always a bit prohibitive. Also, I did not need yet another piece of equipment sitting on my counter or in my shelves. This KitchenAid attachment to the stand mixer was the perfect thing. I drink celery juice in the morning and this juicer attachment makes the juice I need with a minimum of fuss. The juicer is easy to put on and take off and it is easy to take it apart to clean after use. I love it! I haven’t made any sauce yet, but I’m looking forward to making tomato sauce in the summer when the produce is ripe. The only thing that bothers me just a little is that the pulp is not totally dry, even though it is a lot dryer than the product coming out of other juicers I’ve tried.
