I bought this about 1 month ago and used it to juice fresh apples picked from my garden for canning. It is necessary to slice the apples to fit in the hopper ( a safety feature, I imagine). I steamed the apple slices a few minutes as recommended in the instructions and had excellent results, running about 10 pounds of apples through the attachment in a short time. I would like to see a redesign of the juice cup to reduce splashing, perhaps some type of inverted funnel/l, or just taller? The waste catcher could be concave on one side rather than round so as to butt up against the juice cup and fit under the waste spout better. Quick and easy to use and easy cleanup. Overall, I was very pleased.

We’ve used this juicer attachment now about 3 times and I love it! Setup is relatively simple and it works great. It is a bit of a pain to clean, but that’s to be expected. My only complaint is that even when using the fine strainer, there is still a bit of pulp that makes it into the juice. It doesn’t bother me, but my boyfriend doesn’t care for it.

I have had my juicer for a little over a week and I use it everyday. I found that it seems to work okay. There needs to be a screen from the spout to the cup, however. I noticed a lot of bigger pieces falling into the cup and I have to strain the juice again to receive a more juice like liquid. The assembly can be a little tricky but it seems secure. I do enjoy having the juicer now. Cleaning and maintenance seem to be a hassle also. I would recommend it to some people for the convenience of not adding another full small appliance to their home if they have a Kitchenaid but someone who wants ease of making juice, probably not.

Pretty slow.dont expect this from kitchen aid.have to give lots of pressure on feeding tube though u cut your fruits in small pieces.And main part is that they have its blade on spiral design base..so fruits or veggies are stuck in its spiral edges.lots of waste of ur juicy fruits n veggies as its not a pulp…I m going to return it.Bcoz very very slow and wastage of food which i don’t like at all..They can make it better than this.

Have not witnessed any overheating or the juicer being to loud and noisy as described by others (But isn’t blenders and other countertop appliances noisy ??). I was pleased with the results , worked just as promised , the only drawback is that it can be a bit messy. It’s very easy to put together and to clean . Happy I made the purchase. Oh and did I tell you the best part was being able to store the juicer and not necessarily have to find space for another appliance.
