Good juicer, but you spend more time cleaning it than juicing. The pulp easily gets blocked and prevents the juice from going through.

I purchased the KitchenAid mixer for my daughter come to find out the factorie eliminated the hold down spring on the output shaft, that’s very unfortunate. that spring been there for over 50 years and does a nice job at holding down the utensils. some of her attachments made a funny noise and wobbled. so I bought a spring and installed it fixed the problems . shame on KitchenAid trying to save a few pennies at the expense of its clients.. when you have a winning product that’s proven itself for 50 years, leave it alone

Did an entire bag of grapefruits (9) without needing to clean the strainer or auger. Not noisy at all. The sales person said it would be noisy, but I only hear the sound of the mixer. Never knew my Upright base could do soooo much!.

We bought the juicer attachment about a month ago after using a friend’s juicing machine. Found this Kitchenaid unit to be easy to use and clean. The hard waste was dry and exited the unit well. I juiced lemons, limes and ginger. And froze the juice in ice cube trays, then transfered them to freezer bags.Couple of tips, at least for me… for fear of the citrus rinds gumming up the unit, I zested the lemons, then cut the balance of the rind off before juicing. I also cut the ginger into smaller pieces to fit the shoot.Overall the attachment oerformed well and i was very pleased with the outcome. Next purchase… a spiralizer.

I bought this and (based on a prior review) I used it with my larger “professional series” mixer. The larger mixer had no problem operating the juicer. This will be a welcome addition to my special occasion cooking frenzies. Love this attachment. I find that as KitchenAid comes out with attachments, my independent support appliances are donated to others. Keep up the good work! My only wish is that you would sell stackable color coordinated boxes (smaller than the originals due to the obmission of packing materials) for storage. I’ll keep an eye out for you next appliance.

I bought this juicer to get into juicing as a newbie. Since I had never used any other brand I don’t have opinions to compare. I like how I don’t need to cut my fruit and veggies into tiny piece to fit in the chute. I have read reviews saying this is slow to juice but I find it to be easy enough to juice daily without loosing precious time in the morning. The biggest flaw I find with this machine is the amount of pulp that remains even when using the low pulp screen. I use a metal strainer to eliminate this issue which is simple enough but yet a step I wish I didn’t have to take. Overall o am a happy juicer!

I used this to make grape juice and it worked so slick. I also used it to make apple juice as well and I worked OK. I think when you make apple juice you should blanch the applies in hot water so the skins are not so tough. It keept on plugging up on me without blanching them.
