I love my kitchen aid and use it all the time! I’ve always been so careful with it but today I bumped it on another glass bowl and it cracked all the way down the side of the bowl. Which now makes it un usable. Other than that it’s amazing.

I purchased this KitchenAid 3.5-qt Artisan Design Stand Mixer with Glass Bowl. I have always wanted a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer and decided to make the investment. My kitchen is very small with little counterspace, so this mixer was the perfect size along with the “glass” bowl (love glass for use in food preparation). On Christmas day, I was excited to use my mixer for the first time. When done, I removed it from the stand to wash and immediately noticed a “crack” inside the bottom of the bowl which was not there prior to starting. Stunned, disappointed! My overall rating would be “excellent” for the mixer, but because of the bowl cracking it is “average”.

I have mine for over 5 years and no problems at all. Only be careful when attached to mixer. I also make bread with it.

Good quality & heavy duty glass. It also comes with a heavy duty snap on cover lid that is stack-able.The nice thing is that I can see through the bowl and observe if things are getting mixed properly all the way to the bottom.

It gives a very nice appearance to the small KitchenAid standup mixer. Looks and functions great. We have had the bowl for two weeks and enjoy using it. No complaints period!

I loved the glass bowl which I have had for over a year. It prevented flour from flying all over which was a problem with the stainless bowl. Loved the measurements on the side and the pour spout too. Today I was mixing up some pasta dough with the dough hook and I guess the dough was too stiff. The bowl cracked as the hook pushed the dough into the side. Other than that it has been great.

I have used this several times now and am very please. I have not had a problem with stuff mixing, no chipping and I am not a “light” baker. Girl Meets Farm uses this exact set up and she has for quite awhile.
