The unique spiral design of the coated PowerKnead dough hook replicates hand-kneading with a powerful force that kneads 25% more yeast bread dough than previous models. The 6-wire whip incorporates the maximum amount of air in whipped mixtures for fluffier whipped cream and angel food cakes. It also rapidly increases airflow into egg mixtures for stiff souffles and rigid meringue peaks. The 6-Qt glass bowl with handle, reinforced steel band and lid is perfect for heavy mixing. I have the pro 600 design for 2 years & absolutely love this mixer. However, the bowl has cracked and I can’t find a replacement bowl. I only wash the bowl by hand so nothing can damage it, and it just cracked on the lip of the bowl while mixing the dough in side the bowl . Now, I’m unable to use this mixer which is very upsetting!

I’ve had my mixer for years and I’ve loved it. But recently large pieces fell off the side after lifting the bowl top mix. I’ve looked everywhere for a replacement, with no luck at all. This seems to be a common issue with a lot of people. I’ve missed using my mixer as it’s one of the most used items in my kitchen. I would love to hopefully find a solution to the lack of replacement bowl.

Reading many negative reviews here about this bowl breaking. I’ve used mine almost daily for two years and haven’t had an issue. I can’t imagine breaking this bowl unless you man handle it. Also people, you can purchase the 6 quart stainless bowl that fits just like the glass bowl on your 6 quart bowl lift KitchenAid. I have both and they both perform fabulously.

I was recently making cakes for the holiday, tapped the beater on the side of the bowl and the glass broke! A piece about 3 inches big just broke off. It’s impossible to find a replacement bowl, as it’s out of stock here and no retailers have it. Now I’m stuck using a hand mixer for my orders until I can find a replacement bowl.
