Wow. Easy to attach, easy to follow the instructions, works great. It’s so fun to grind your own meat and choose your own ingredients. I ground some chuck roast into ground beef with onion and spices, and voila — the best meatballs! This grinder attachment is life changing, I love it. Easy to clean too.

We own most of the Kitchenaid mixer attachments, but this one is my favorite. I’ve always liked to add a little pork in my ground beef for my burgers. No more combining by hand. Everything we make now taste better from our burgers to tacos to meatballs to lasagna.Just wish it was made in the USA.

I am a massive Kitchenaid fan, just look at my kitchen! I’ve had the stand mixer for awhile now and I love it. But I always had to use a separate appliance to grind my pork for sausage. Until I found this attachment. I don’t use it often so I’m glad to have found an attachment to an appliance I use all the time. It grinds really nicely. That did surprise me actually. I highly recommend it!

Love the food grinder attachment for my KitchenAid mixer! It’s great for grinding meat for meatballs and burger patties. It also tackles fruit and veggies for your favorite salsas and dips! My next endeavor is going to be finding out how it handles peanuts. I think it will grate them nicely for toppings.

I was so excited and happy to get this attachment for my kitchenaid mixer I’ve always wanted it, this weekend we had a big family get together for the holiday and we needed to make a bunch of burgers so I went to our local butcher and purchased the meat and was able to grind it myself and to my liking and let me tell you it worked fabulously and I absolutely love it and will be making my own ground beef and literally anything else I can ground myself, i love how simple and easy it is to use and that I can add what ever I want to my own meat while grinding it and I know 100% what goes into it. The attachment is not overly loud like I though which is a big plus and it is very easy to use and clean.

I bought this to grind some chicken for lettuce wraps and used it to process the mushrooms, water chchestnuts and bamboo shoots as well. It worked great! My only hope would be for the chamber to empty fully, but I had to pull the remains out.

I got this as a Christmas gift and wanted to put it through the motions before I reviewed. Now every grinder I have ever used including standalone stainless steel grinders have a problem processing large chunks of fat that reach room temperature, this mixer kept pushing through as long as I added a larger strips of meat (muscle)…Now I put it through the paces and ground 15 lbs of trimmed brisket (tough and sinewy) and this grinder chewed it up and spit it out LOL!

My Review for Food Grinder Attachment this comes in so handy. I can grind up some pork and sausage links and make pattied. I even did some veggies. Does an awesome job. Blades are sharp so be careful.

I love my KitchenAid – Food Grinder Attachment, not only is it super easy to use but it grinds down beef to the perfect consistency. I love that I can make ground beef to my liking adding in seasoning and vegetables rather than buying preground beef at the grocery store. I definitely recommend it and cannot wait to try out other foods with it.

Pros: easy to set up, easy to use, works well, 2 different grinding plates, multi-functionalCons: housing and collar are made out of plastic, hard to clean The KitchenAid food grinder attachment is really nice! I had expectations of the entire unit and all of its components to be made out of stainless steel. This is not the case; the main housing is made out of plastic which I find incredibly hard to clean. Otherwise, this grinder works extremely well and it’s mostly user friendly. The instructions for the attachment are clear and easy to understand. They walk you through putting the grinder together. I didn’t have any issues at this stage. I was able to perfectly set it up, and then grind food up to my expectations without any issues. The plunger works well and this attachment is easy to use and feed food into. I like that it comes with two plate sizes for different types of foods. I appreciate that this is a multi-functional tool. Once the grinding is finished, taking the grinder attachment apart is a little tricky. Especially removing the collar and then the grinding plate when they are covered in grease. It is very hard to get the plate out of its designated notch/tab spot. It took some serious effort to pry it out of there. Lastly, cleaning this entire unit was not easy. If you were grinding something other than meat it wouldn’t be as difficult. The grease from the meat really held on to the plastic. I was surprised it didn’t come with a cleaning brush. Luckily, I have a long bottle brush that was able to go into the housing and really clean it out well and around all of the small parts. All in all, I really like this attachment. It’s super easy to put together, use, it grinds food well and flawlessly, although clean up isn’t my favorite the results speak for themselves. I would absolutely recommend it.
