   I have to eat gluten free and making this type of pasta is extremely difficult. With this it is so easy a child could do it and the results are much better, almost like making regular pasta. This thing isn’t cheap, but it’s worth every penny! You rarely see a product that ends up simplifying one’s life as this (for me at least). Now I can make fresh pasta whenever I want and for a gluten free version, it’s ready in less than 15 minutes and tastes as good as regular pasta.

   I purchased this around Christmas time. I love making my own pasta, except for the rolling part. This attachment is amazing. I no longer spend a day making pasta and the amount of mess is reduced by 98%. I was making pasta and drying it because the hassle of hand rolling, now I make just enough to eat.    No assembly needed. You just plug it into the front dock for attachments and tighten the thumbscrew. Works like a charm.

   Very sturdy attachment. However, I was told it would also fit my Kenmore mixer which it appeared to do so. It fit the opening but after about 6 passes, it rocked loose and fell to the counter! I tightened the set screw as tight as possible and it fell off again after 5-6 passes. Will try again

   I bought this right after Christmas and couldn’t wait to receive it. My kids and I made ravioli and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. It does take some practice getting the dough size correct bit results were well worth it

    Disappointed in failure of my handy Kitchenaid pasta roller. Enjoyed it for several years until the inner plastic sleeve of the roller cracked and ultimately broke apart. It is unusable as the pasta roller now only shreds rolled dough which is caught in the fracture and sharp broken sections. Reluctant to replace unless pasta roller attachment has been redesigned for longevity. Perhaps plastic should no longer be used in its manufacture.

    I’ve been wanting one of these for ages, and because of a generous friend I was finally able to buy it. I love it! It rolls the dough smoothly and easily. I can make pasta as well as noodle dough, and I can with them, I can make lasagna, ravioli, and any width noodle (which I can easily hand cut once I’ve used the roller to get the sheet of dough the thickness I want). I’m happy, and looking forward to having company and making fresh pasta!

    The KitchenAid quality of old! I think that over the years, KitchenAid products have diminished. Still very good, but not as good. This pasta roller (which replaces one I wore out!) is of the high quality we expect.

    I’ve tried making pasta in the past, with mixed results. I had a hand-cranked pasta roller, but it was difficult to use and I couldn’t use both hands to handle the pasta dough. The KitchenAid pasta roller does a fantastic job. Like all KitchenAid appliances, it’s heavy and well made. It worked perfectly and made gorgeous sheets of pasta. I’ll be using it many times over the coming days and months, and storing up pasta in the freezer for the future. Thanks, KitchenAid!

    I recently puchased the pasta rollerand have made pasta a couple times and used this roller. It does a great job. I love it. Nothing like fresh pasta. I would, however, recommend buying the cutter attachments at the same as it is cheaper that way. I didn’t think I would need them but ended up purchasing them. They work great as well
