I purchased this a few months ago to aid in making zucchini lasagna. After I figured it out, it worked like a charm. I did have one old hard zucchini with large seeds. The cutter didn’t like that zucchini. It spun on the soft center and wouldn’t cut it. I tried cutting it then with a knife and it was like concrete. It worked beautifully on all the others. I enjoyed have even slices plus the beauty of not slicing my fingers work a knife. The speed of cutting was amazingly fast. It also was super for slicing apples into sheets for snacks.

I’m still learning about all the functions of my KitchenAid but I’m absolutely loving this attachment! I’ve had it for two days and so far I’ve made a lasagna using sheets of zuccini, Apple sheets rolled up with peanut butter and cucumber sheets rolled up with cream cheese and dill. I Love that it allows me to feed my family healthier options that still taste amazing. Its so fun and easy to use that I look for different things that can be made into sheets just so I can use it!

Love how it thinly sliced vegetables. I can mame pretty roses out of cucumbers, peppers. I am now making spring rolls makes it easier to roll up. My kids love the fact that it is thin enough to wrap up in sandwiches. It is the perfect add on to my standup mixer. Easy to attach and clean up is a breeze.

Practice with the thick blade and then graduate to the thin blade. Here are 3 keys to guaranteed success: 1. There is no vegetable that is perfectly cylindrical and smooth, so the blade will engage and rotate until the vegetable has been shaved to the PERFECT CYLINDRICAL VEGETABLE. Expect to see shavings, so chose vegetables that are as cylindrical as possible or just cut down the humps and bumps before you mount the vegetable.2. You must use the stir speed. DO NOT go faster!3. You MUST keep the attachment in the locked position while you mount the vegetable. When everything is locked in place, I start the machine at STIR speed. then I unlock the attachment while the vegetable is rotating. I slowly release the attachment locking lever until it touches the vegetable. EXPECT to get shavings of the vegetable because the machine is creating the PERFECT CYLINDRICAL VEGETABLE. As soon as you see the shavings start to become sheet form (short shavings become longer shavings) gently release the attachment locking lever to let the machine do its thing. I give it 5 STARS and thumbs up…. Well done Kitchen Aid!

Kitchen Aid never seems to disappoint. This attachment is so much fun and easy to use. This attachment makes for opening a whole new way of recipe ideas. Can slice up wraps for sandwiches, vegetable sushi, decorative garnishing, etc. The kids also love a new way of eating fruits and vegetables, makes it more interesting. Lastly, it is SOOO easy to clean unlike other kitchen gadgets. Again, HIGHLY recommend this great product.

I finally used the attachment to slice zucchini into sheets to use to make low-carb enchiladas. It worked all right at first, but as the vegetable became soft inside the skewer failed to turn properly. During the cleaning process, I sliced a finger rather badly while trying to dry the blade attachment (best to air dry!!) I wish I had a better experience with it. When my finger heals, I’m going to try slicing sweet potatoes.

This is one of the most innovative attachments I’ve ever used on my Kitchen Aid mixer. I make a lot of pasta dishes and add loads of vegetables to my dishes. I used cucumbers, squash, potatoes, peaches, plums and pears and successfully sliced these food items into consistent, even with little effort! It takes a bit to comprehend the instructions, but once you begin the process, it comes very naturally. When you process vegetables, it’s best if you purchase them in lengths of 6 inches or less and wide, if available. For instance, if you buy an 8- or 10-inch length cucumber, you will want to cut it up into sections of 4 inches or less so it can be easily mounted on the attachment. If you are making quiches or lasagna, the processor does an outstanding job of processing slim sheets of vegetables. The best part of the processing is that it’s so easy and efficient with little effort on my end. You can adjust the size and width of the vegetable or fruit slice. Kitchen Aid promotes the attachment for creating all types of pasta and it had no problems making different size of noodles. The main component parts are plastic and after processing vegetables and fruits, the components are very easy to clean and service. This sheet cutter is built sturdy and durable allowing a lot of versatility that will deliver great results for a long period of time. I rate this Kitchen Aid attachment a 5-STAR rating. It is a great investment for your mixer.

The sheets are very uniform and easy to make. Great pasta substitute. Also makes nice chips in the dehydrator.

We recently went Keto as a household. But I was craving things like stuffed pasta or lasagna. So I purchased the vegetable sheet cutter hopeful it would help with creating substitutions for the food I love. Boy did it ever! I’ve only owned it for a little over a week and have used it 3 times already. From butternut lasagna noodles to yellow squash enchilada wraps, it works amazingly! Used along with our spiralizer we bought last year, I think I can do without pasta for good!

This takes your veggies to a whole different level! My kids did not even know they had zucchini sheets in the lasagna! Thankfully, it is easy to attach and use. I plan on using this on squash and pumpkin too! Layering veggies is a great activity to do with children because it is so fun!

I bought this for my partner on a whim. We make zoodles all the time, so I was curious if we could try something a bit different while still staying healthy. What I didn’t expect was how FAST this thing works! It cuts sheets so fast we actually use it a lot more than we ever thought we would! A fun way to change things up on a week night. Cleaning is a bit tricky, but fast once you get the hang of it.

I recently purchased this and it is meeting me needs exactly! I made chicken enchiladas and use potato slices cut and rolled up with the chicken salsa verde. It was the best ever. I’ve made cucumber sandwich rolls, sweet potato chips. Everything a snap to use. Clean up so easy.

My daughter-in-law is a vegetarian and the rest of us are meat eaters. When I bought this I thought it was a pretty cool idea to come up with dishes that we could make that would be something she would like. We’ve had so much fun! We made a lasagna with zucchini as the noodles, we’ve made a potato dish, and the pies are to die for. Again, not only do we now have the cool factor, it is so much fun as well. Way to go KithchenAid!

I recently purchased the attachment and am very happy with it. It works very well on harder veggies. Only issue comes with soft core veggies like large seeded cucumbers. The holders are inserted into the core area and that material is not strong enough, so for large cukes maybe not the best choice, but zucchini, potatoes and other veggies, works great. Blades are good and sharp.

We have transitioned to Keto way of eating and this is a major tool for my low carb lasagne and so many dishes.

If you like zoodles or sliced carrots or really any vegetable in a sliced form, this machine is perfect for you! I had an issue with store bought zoodles going bad quickly and since you can do this in your own home now, it lasts longer!
