My husband gave this to me for Christmas and I used it too soft confectioners sugar for icing. It measured and sifted the right amount which yielded fluffy icing for my Christmas cake. The chute is adjustable from side to side and expandable to ensure the sugar or flour makes into the bowl. Just don’t use it on the higher speeds as you will end up with a dust cloud. Slower speeds work fantastic. I can’t wait to see what I get for my birthday in 4 days. I’m sure it’s a Kitchenaid product- my best friend in the kitchen.

This is something different. I had never tried anything like this until now and i have to say i found it to be very handy. I was afraid it would be hard to use but it is very easy. The scale is a plus on it . I was happy with that because you can use it separately. I have always liked Kitchen Aid is a great product and for them to come out with a great product like this i know it is. Try it i don’t think you will regret it. Makes baking simpler.

So I will admit I am the person that if I see “sift ingredients” a recipe I most often time skip that step out of pure laziness! But this attachment makes it sooo easy! It was very easy to assemble and attach to the mixer. The sifter worked great and the scale being built in is such a great feature. I will say the sifter doesn’t work super, super fast but it’s not bad. And added bonus: having the little chute for the ingredients to “slide” down gets rid of my problem of accidentally spilling half my dry ingredients onto the counter trying to add them in.

I am finding myself using this attachment more than I thought I would. I sifted a bread that I made and it was so light and fluffy, Perfect !!! I would love to be able to get a finer sifting screen since it does pop out, this would be an Awesome option and an improvement to a great attachment. Hoping KA considers this improvement.

I love to cook but baking and creating pasta, dough, etc has never been my specialty. I think that is mostly because of how precise you need to be when creating these items and I am generally more of an eyeball and taste type of cook. I haven’t had any issues with the size but I could see where having a larger container would be nice when making larger batches, especially if you are making pasta or pizza dough. Altogether, I have no complaints, this attachment has been a perfect addition. It makes it very easy to measure ingredients accurately and mix properly. It does the hard work for you!

My shipment came the day I had to make 6 batches icing for my daughter “cupcake wars” birthday. It was a total game changer and so easy to use. In fact, my 8 year old daughter did the whole thing. If you cook in large quantities, the scale is so nice….you don’t have to use measuring cups. You can also use it as a scale outside of the mixer. Love it!!
