I got this for my wife as she loves to bake and bring the stuff to work. First thing I noticed was the fact that the scale can be used seperately from the attachment if you would wish to do so. The cool thing is the scale measures the amount of ingredients in grams, oz, or lbs and when you’re ready to sift you just turn on your mixer. The chute is adjustable for different size bowls as well. The attachment also comes with a nifty conversion chart which could be hung up in a cabinet or somewhere visible.

I received my Sifter + Scale Attachment days ago and so far is has been great! I’m pretty old school and used to baking the old school way with measuring cups and a big mess, but this is so much better for weighing my flour properly and staying somewhat neat while I bake. I also find that it is very easy to use and has a nice modern day look to it.. The sifter mixes really well especially when baking large amounts and the scale weighs accurately. This is perfect for someone who does a whole lot of baking!

This is the best thing ever I’m so glad I got it , now I don’t have to sift by hand the only thing I would fix on it is the plastic release to take it apart I broke mine and had to get a replacement which was easy to do . You should make that piece metal so it won’t break so easy.

I make cookies periodically and I’ve gotten into baking bread recently. I usually sift flour using a cheap sifter and I saw this product and thought I’d give it a try, particularly because there is a difference between weight and volume of ingredients. I made a couple of batches of cookies using the correct weights and it really, really makes a difference. The device is easy to set up and it takes only a minute to attach it to my Artisan. It has a digital scale so you can load the cup with ingredient, then start sifting and watch it work. The unit is easy to clean up. I store it in the box it came in and keep it in my cupboard. The scale is portable and I use it regularly for dinner recipes. A really, really nice product and essential for better baking!

This was gift, I happened to see the attachment randomly in an add. I have been baking more and more and often sift by hand which takes up more time. Having used the sifter once, it worked great and will come in handy for making baked goods. Additionally the included scale adds to being able to try recipes that are measured by weight. I am pleased with the added convenience this attachment offeres. The only draw backs are the placement of the hopper valve to open/close, would have been nice if it was placed on the other side facing the mixer controls. Secondly if you are using more that two cups of flour the Hooper is not big enough to hold more than 2 cups at a time.

My wife is an at home hobby Baker and usually makes all our families birthday cakes or party treats. Since I am the husband I get tasked with all the grunt work which includes sifting all the powdered sugar and flour. I normally use a handheld sifter and it takes a toll on my hands. This sifter also has a scale at the base which helps with measuring ingredients by weight and gives consistent results. The sifter of course is hands free and has been such a big help to our baking routine. Since I been using this attachment feature my icing has come out more fluffy and the perfect smoothable consistency. It operates really quietly which is a big help for late night baking. I don’t know how I’ve gone without this attachment. I highly recommend getting this attachment if you are still hand sifting. High quality product from a well known long time brand and very affordable.
