Pretty good! They strip well and they’re comfortable. Only complaint is the head is kind of large so if you’re working in tight spots like a single outlet box it’s a tight fit but other than that they’re great.

Great tool. It is made of ‘real steel’ Light weight but strong little bugger. The steel is very sharp which makes it very easy to strip wires. Works great even with smaller gauge wire. I like the fact that it cuts wire as well. No longer need to have a separate wire cutter. I cut 12 & 14 gauge wire with ease. This is made in the USA and you can tell.

best tool for the money. delivers a quality stripping as expected at half the cost of the next higher priced Klein stripper. Perfect for the homeowner, but I would recommend the higher priced one for the person doing electrical work everyday.

It’s great for smaller gage wires used in electronics

This was a nice tool, good for stripping and cutting but I found it difficult to get a good crimp on a non-insulated crimp-on quick disconnect. It worked fine on the insulated ones and even though it has a place for non-insulated crimping. I ordered a different set of Klein crimpers that has a different shape crimping area that will do a better job on non-insulated terminals.

Nice pair of strippers with plier tips. I have several sets of strippers of varying designs but nothing quite like this one. I tested it on some sprinkler wire for a landscaping project I’m working on. The stripper made clean and fast work of the 18 gauge solid core wire. The needle nose plier tips are a nice touch for pulling wires out of a box or doing some basic twisting. The handles are comfortable and I didn’t feel the grips slipping or anything putting odd pressure on my hands. Overall this will find a place in my electrical toolbox for various wiring projects.

Ergonomically designed, easy on the hands, and a very sharp cutter make this one of the better tool decisions I’ve ever made. No truer words have ever been said: “you get what you pay for….” and the quality engineered into this tool most assuredly proves that a little extra money can make a world of difference, both in speed and accuracy. I had gone through two other, off-brand wire stripper/cutters in less than six months that left me frustrated and swearing like a sailor. I will be looking to Klein Tools when the time to purchase that next tool arrives.

These were not as good as I expected … locating position for small gauge wire stripping was difficult

Pliers work great, just wish they had a spring for for effortless opening.

These pliers are the best strippers for use in the HVAC field that are in the Klein tools. They are ergonomic and address all of the needs we require for wiring and affixing terminals for up to 10 gauge wire. I am thoroughly pleased with them and am certain that they will be copied by others.

I was very impressed at the precision manufacturing – meticulously matching the gauge of the wire to the gauge of the stripper. I don’t like to use the word perfection, but this is as close to perfect precision as I can describe. I dislike mediocre made strippers which feel cheap and perform as cheaply made. I’ve use strippers from time to time which feel as if you need to chew the covering from the wire. All I did with these Klein strippers is to squeeze the handles and pull the covering from the wire. There was no need to rotate the strippers to cut the covering. Best of all, there was not the slightest nick in the copper wire when stripping. Exceptionally well made. The machining and quality of these strippers makes me smile. Quality is worth every penny! Quality saves time and therefore money!

Needed a stripper and crimped all in 1 but did not want to drop to much cash. Work good they do not have a spring assisting in the opening process. So if you don’t have good dexterity in your hands may want to drop a little more coin for that over all quality tool.
