Klein Tools’ Katapult® Solid and Stranded Wire Stripper / Cutter has a built-in cutting hole to cleanly cut 8-20 AWG solid and 10-22 AWG stranded wire, while the stripping head allows you to easily grip and strip just by squeezing the handle. Made of cast alloy with a heavy-duty Ecoat finish for corrosion resistance and durability.

These wire strippers work great! I can easily strip any gauge from 10 to 22 stranded or solid with one hand. They worked very well on a lighting upgrade job where we replaced several hundred ballasts. The insulation was very hard to strip with standard strippers, it appeared to be bonded to the wire. I had no problem with this stripper whereas the other guys on the crew had sore hands using theirs. So they kept borrowing mine. Needless to say I told them that they need to go to Home Depot and get their own for the next job. These also make working with 18/2 shielded easy. I simply use the 10 gauge to strip the outer jacket without damage to the inner conductors.
