These are great cutting pliers. I have other wire cutters but these are the best. The grip is a good size for my smaller hands. They cut very well. They don’t slide on the wire(s) like most others do. Also they are well insulated incase when you are accidently working on live wires when you thought they were dead. I love that layer of protection and my wife does to. I try to make sure she is not around when I am working on electrical things. 🙂

A professional quality diagonal pair of pliers. The handles have insulation with small thumb guards providing protection from up to 1000 volts. This insulation is three part and appears to be durable and should last for years. They are designed that if the white inner layer ever shows through the insulated quality may be compromised. The pliers operate smoothly and the blades are hardened and cut easily and completely. I can easily cut through a #6 solid copper wire with these pliers even though my grip is not what it once was.I would highly recommend these for someone looking for an excellent quality pair of insulated diagonal pliers.

These 8″ Klein diagonal cutting pliers are very well made. I’m a tool and die maker and when working with electrical circuits I expect to be without power I feel secure knowing these are insulated for 1000 volts. The grip is good no slip. I’ve had these for a few weeks I have other pairs but these have become my go to. I have no doubt I’ll be using these for a long time.

These cutters are the best! I have been wiring my new garage, and these cutters snip right through 12/2 and 12/3 wire with ease. I am sure they would do the same for heavier gauge wire as well. They are sharp and the grips are very comfortable, and they fit nicely in a pocket or tool belt. I also like that they are brightly colored–so I can easily spot them on a cluttered workbench or poorly lit work space.

Kline Tools makes some of the best electrical construction tools on the market today. Whenever I need a new electrical tool, I look to Kline Tools first. They are second to none. Just like my new pair of Kline 8 inch Electricians insulated diagonal cut pliers. I feel protected against electrical shock when I’m using these on live wiring. Plus, on thicker gauge wire, they provide a degree of high leverage that a smaller pair of cutters just won’t provide. Best of all the grips are comfortable to use.

These cutters are VERY sharp right out of the package. I ordered them from a picture and didn’t realize that the cutting head wasn’t angled very much so just be aware of this particular set. The first thing I noticed about these was the insulation on the handles. They are advertised as having a wear layer that will give a warning if the insulation is worn out or damaged. That is great for safety, but what I really like is that the extra thick insulation gives your hands a better grip with less fatigue. You can use these for hours on end and not have a sore hand at the end of the day like others that just have a very thin layer of insulation. The bright orange color makes them easy to spot when you set them down.

I was just looking for a decent set of diagonal pliers and what I got with these is so much more. The heft and the 8 inch length gives one plenty of leverage along with a high grade of steel and cutting surface. Its size was what first attracted me as most others are much smaller. This is a true set of “linesman’s pliers” as Klein supplied the industry almost from its inception.Another plus is the 1000 volt rating!PLUS… I almost didn’t believe it… they are still made right here in the USA!

These diagonal cutting pliers are no joke! The rubber is very thick but sturdy. They are extremely sharp and have not issues cutting electrical wire. I used them to cut 14/2 and went through it like a hot knife through butter. Very little resistance. I hate to admit it but I also used them to cut some decorative stem that my wife had. It had metal running through the middle and scissors were not cutting it. These pliers did the job with ease!

This is my first insulated Klein tool and I’m impressed. My traditional lineman’s pliers aren’t insulated so I get nervous even though I always turn off power at the breaker and test with a non-contact voltage tester before working. The insulated grips are a little bulky for my big hands, but I appreciate the end caps that prevent my hand from sliding to the uninsulated cutters. At 8″, the tool has very good leverage… 12 or 14 gauge Romex is butter. They’re ideal for 1,000 V rated applications, but I don’t “play” at that level (that’s when I call a professional). If I had to use this tool every day like an electrician, I’d buy the whole line even though they’re pricey. A solid tool and they cut accurately.

This is a very extreme high quality pair of electricians insulated diagonal cutting pliers. The pliers are rated to 1000V with a a unique three part insulation system. The pliers are extremely well built with zero wobble in the movement. These are of surgical instrument quality and design. The 8″ length is ideal for a wide range of jobs. I would strongly recommend!!
