These Free-Fall Snips feature high carbon steel blades to cut 19 AWG and 23 AWG electrical communication wire. They also strip 19 AWG and 23 AWG wire. The extended handle provides comfort and cutting leverage for wire cutting applications. The blades are made of high carbon steel blade (58 HRC) to maintain blade durability and sharpness. Serrated teeth allow for non-slip cutting action. The free-fall feature provides a looser fit.

They are the go to scissors for electrical techs. The scissors have the points rounded off for protection ,which is good if carrying in pocket. If they are rounded to much you will have trouble silting jacket of cable length wise. I love these scissors and would buy again.

Watched a few example videos on youtube and I was sold. So I picked up a set of these and I’ve been very happy! These scissors can be used to cut pretty much all low-voltage wire, including coax. You can also use them to easily strip the jacket from cat5/6, and even coax too. Would recommend!
