Extremely beefy, all-metal tool should last a lifetime of daily use. Typical Klein professional quality. Recently completed extensive job using 2/0 aluminum URD (direct burial) cable. The sheathing on this cable must be a little oversized because the 2/0 side was too small; however the 3/0 side worked great. Will not nick or scratch conductors if used properly. Takes less than 30 seconds to effortlessly and cleanly strip an inch of very tough URD insulation. Stripping the same cable with a sharp knife takes several minutes and usually nicks the aluminum conductors. This tool is well worth the investment.
