If you have a lot of rebar wire you MUST have these pliers. They work great, easy to use and the handle absorbs a lot of the cutting snap! The knurled jaws really hold the wire making twisting and snapping off very easy. Great for fence wires too. Actually good for everything except electrics, wires! Made by Klein so you know the quality is there! Try them and you will love them!

I use these in the fire service for cutting battery terminals, etc. I just picked these up last week, there are “special ones” that they make for the fire side but the price is doubled. I will say I attempted to cut terminals the other week and had a difficult time. They are locked into the open position so another downfall for me. Great quality though, dropped off a 3 story roof and held up great.

These pliers are very heavy duty. The extra little angle on the end of one of the grips is helpful with holding them secure. I was surprised with their weight – they are heavy – which is a good thing. There is a spring assisted opening, which works well. I would say it could be removed if you were to need that feature but the spring helps re-open the jaws whenever you need. The jaw does not close completely, but very close. The teeth in the jaw are very significant. Grip is not lacking in these pliers. The cutting edge also works well on the copper wire sizes I was using. Great tool – smells like metal.

I love Klein. Never have been disappointed. I got this for a chain link fence that I needed to remove. It was installed by the previous Owner, had been extended a couple times and repaired from car’s hitting it (I am on a busy road, and people hit my property a few times a year). I plan on replacing it with a split rail fence, and getting a few extra rails to let sit out to age and have color matched replacements (hoping it works?).This pliers worked great. Was able to unwind strapping, with its easy twist handle, and cut anything that was too cumbersome to unwind. After a dozen cuts of chain link gauge wire, still no nicks in the blade. The handle is not coated, but I do not plan on using it around electricity and plan on wearing gloves. So, does not matter to me. This was the right tool for the right job.

The handles of these pliers are painted not coated. I do large Halloween and Christmas yard displays and I use a lot of clothes hanger and suspended ceiling wire in my props. These pliers work great to cut and bend the heavier wire. I use the wire as mechanical connections so I often have to have precise lengths and angles. The jaws are really aggressive and hold the wire tight for forming and bending. I know these are designed for rebar but they work really well for my use. They are spring loaded and automatically spring open which took a little getting used to. They seem really solid like they will last for a very long time. The cutting edges still look brand new with no nicks after several uses.

KLEIN TOOLS nocks it out of the park with their hand tools. These ironworker’s pliers are a beast and handle just like one as well. We use these consistently at work. Whether its tying a fence to a pole or forming concrete for ramps and exhibits they are used extensively. The spring loaded action really helps out for those tedious fast paced jobs. They literally cut the time on the job significantly which helps when your arching your back. They fit real good in my hands and they look and feel strong. Perfect tool that comes through consistently for me.

Order shipped in a timely fashion and was received exactly as shown. This Klein tool was better than expected, even from a fine tool company such as Klein. What I really loved was the spring opening of the pliers which made it much easier to do repetitive operations such as twisting wire loops to bind barbed wire splices, or bind the wiring to a fence. The bend outwards of the handle is multi-purpose as it helps keep the tool in your hand from slipping out as well as sticking it in a loop for added twisting on heavy gauge wire.I highly recommend this tool.

These are good quality pliers. I have twisted wire, cut wire and haven’t found any job these pliers couldn’t handle. The jaws grip extremely well. You can put lots of pressure with these handles and not worry about it bending or mashing fingers. The bent handle end works good for holding then on and extra pressure. I like the spring loaded opening especially when you’re trying to get multiple grips.I have other tools from this brand, they are excellent quality as well. I think I would like these even better with rubber coated handles

I was thinking that I was going to say that these were a man’s pliers, but I had to reconsider when my wife tried them out while I was doing the same. She does a lot of work around our mini-farm, such as fencing around things to keep the deer out, attaching wire to things for hanging or just to fasten them to something else, among other things. The same for me, there is always something that needs to be done and these are the pliers for the job if pliers are needed. I tried them out on numerous sizes of wire as well as wire cable and screws. The pliers cut through everything easily, but I did have to take a couple of bites on the wire cable to cut it cleanly. These are really good pliers and the way that they are hinged gives you lots of leverage. They make cutting and twisting wire a breeze. The toothed end also makes it easy to grip anything. I plan to throw out a couple of pairs of wire cutters that I already have. I should have found these long ago and I recommend these whole heartedly.

Great quality. Nice hand feel. Feels very precise when using them to twist wire or snip wire. The teeth are jagged so it makes gripping great, no slipping sideways. The pliers do have a spring assisted opening so they want to remain ‘open’ when not in use. This makes it easier to go from one job to the next but it also means you need to store them upside-down and depending on how your other pliers are made this may be odd. But not a detractor. It makes grabbing them one fluid motion and easier to start working.
