These are nice old school electricians scissors,They are well made out of steel then chrome plated to prevent rust. When you open the package the blades are covered in an abundance of oil.Once they were cleaned they are razor sharp and ready to go to work. They have 23 and 19 gauge strippers on the top of the blade and wire snips on the inside. They have a nice rubber grip so they are easy to hold and use,These are my go to for installing lighting and fixtures in the house.

I work in the studio system and from time to time I need these great quality type of scissors. These are absolutely amazing! I love them and I can see why everyone should have a pair of these lying around their work environment and I need to get some for my house. I like that they can cut straight through pretty much anything. I had to cut through some wires at the studio and it worked fabulous.

These all-purpose electrician’s scissors live up to their name. They have multiple functions within this one tool. They can strip 19 and 23 AWG wires. They have a cable cutting notch built into the blade for up to 14 AWG wire, plus there’s a notch in the tip to de-burr electrical boxes . The scissor handles are comfortable and easy to grip/hold. The blades are very sharp as well.

COMPACT TOOL with MULTIPLE USES — The Klein Tools All-Purpose Electrician’s Scissors is a handy tool to have when working with thin wire or cables. Its size is about that of a person’s hand which makes it easy to use and store in one’s pouch. It has many useful features but what I liked best is how easily it cuts wires. It seemed easier than with my electrician’s pliers. It has notches for stripping 19 and 23 gauge wire or cable. The scissors works well for cutting with serrated edges so that it doesn’t slip. It also has a notch for deburring electrical fixtures. The novel handle allows it to be used in multiple ways depending upon one’s hands or application. The sides of both blades are ribbed for use in cleaning wire.

This review is for the Klein all-purpose electrician’s scissors. I think these are a good buy. More expensive but time is money. Nothing worse than saving money on cheap tools that slow down a job. These are built for durability and rugged. I also am pleased that the pair was shipped with a slight coat of machine oil.I’ve been cutting 18AWG-22AWG wires with no issues. Fast and clean cuts all of the time.

I’ve recently been acruing electrician type tools for a variety of home projects and, had I known about these, I could have saved myself on a few (the more, the merrier, though, right?). The grip might seem awkward to some, but it is for getting grip and leverage when cutting wire. I found it cut 12 gauge wire with minimal effort, so I’m not sure that is even necessary. Trimmed the copper nicely. Only thing I didn’t do with it was remove the 12 gauge casing. A welcome and multi-useful (I’ve used it for various “scissor” tasks as well as wiring a subwoofer) piece of kit.

These are sturdy, well-made scissors designed for use in the electrical trade. As I do some wiring and repairs from time to time, I thought that I might see how these might make my life a little easier. Good product, made in the USA but they are way too small for me to use. I do have large hands, extra large gloves for me, and I was unable to fit my fingers into the handles to even try to use them. Had my wife try (lovely female hands) and they worked for her. If they are the right size for you, I am sure they will be very useful for electrical work.

I’m always a little reticent about getting “all purpose” tools but these electrician scissors are just that. You can split Romex covering without fear of nicking the conductor wire covering, strip the wire and cut it without reaching for another tool. The handles are large enough for most folks fingers and are plastic dipped for comfort. The blades are very sharp forged steel and should last the home electrician a very long time.

Love these scissors. Just picking them up you can feel the quality and looking at them you can see that Klein put a lot of thought in to them. Sometimes its the little things, even though these are pack full of useful features, the one I like the best is the handle design, I can use them in different configurations / ways of holding them depending on what I am cutting, with the loop and light materials one finger in the round hole to open them, one finger near the hinge to close and cut quickly. For those harder materials, the round hole is for my thumb, two fingers in the big hole with one finger outside. My hands are too big. The second best feature I like is the round area near the hinge, cuts small stranded wire great. The wire striper part did not impress me, I still like my standard wire stripers for that. Forgot all about the primary purpose, these scissors work great for cutting “normal” things you would typically cut with a pair of scissors, nice and sharp!!!These are warranted for life, somehow I don’t think I will every use it as these are so well built, nice to have just in case.

Well done! Another great quality, smartly designed tool from Klein! And, you don’t have to look at reviews to appreciate the versatility of these scissors. The Home Depot website has photos, a video, ample descriptors and even a product brochure (under Specifications). Plus, at just 7-inches from end-to-end it’s a perfect size and addition to any tool box!

Did what I needed to do. Always lube your joints with actual penetrating oil before using new tools. This prevents sticking.

Electrical Scissors made Just For your small electronic Tool Box! Has great features like wire cutters (Duh) and a notch that allows wire stripping easily. Small in hand make delicate work easy. I do have large hands & these are rather smallish but I can see how it would work well in the Automotive or Stereo Installation Businesses. A nice Bright Yellow coating on handle is non slip & make for finding them easy especially if it is an involved install in tight quarters. Klein Does it Again!
