I already have a jab saw (or drywall saw as I call it) but it doesn’t fold up so you have to be very careful when getting it out of the toolbag. This new one is really nice. It opens to two different positions and then locks firmly in place. The button has to be pushed hard to get it to fold up again but I suppose you want it to be secure. The handle is really nicely shaped and feels good in your hand. The blade is also really sharp. My old jab saw had a slightly longer blade and handle but I don’t think that is necessary. This is nice and compact. My last jab saw was a Klein Tool also and it has worked well.Overall I think this is a really nice tool.

Really like it. Sticks a bit but easily fixed with some oil.

Drywall saws are great, but the problem is they’re an exposed blade that tear up your tool bag and your hands if your’re not careful digging in said bag. This Klein saw folds down to a compact and safe profile, it’s worth the extra cost. Typical Klein quality, the blade is sharp, and the handle is sturdy. It has two locking positions which is nice

Not to sure if you can buy or buy replacnent blades. Other than that good lil jab saw and the folding is why i purchased this to fit in my electricians pouch while i work. Makes life a little easier i recommend

this jab saw is a perfect size, for the do it yourselfer, I’ve been rewiring my house and I particularly like the folding feature, as I tend to set tools down and spend more time looking for them and I don’t like putting sharp items in my pockets. This saw is sharp and does a great job of cutting precision holes for outlets and switches and it’s great for cutting patches for those outlets I’m doing away with. I would recommend this saw to any DIYer.

Klein Tools has provided me with free product and additional incentives to provide an honest review of this product. Klein Tools has designed a great product with this folding jab saw. After years of carrying a normal saw in my tool bag, it is nice to not have a saw cutting your bag or hand when digging around. The locking blade has 2 positions, and I found both to be comfortable to use. The lock is also very sturdy, so you don’t need to worry about it closing on your hand.

Loving this tool. The lock mechanism is rock solid. Sharp as a razor. The handle is metal and bigger than the fatmax. Feels really comfortable in my hand. #kleincrusaders

Perfect standard size drywall saw. Good handle and I like how it folds in half. This helps keep the blade sharp and not to sang other items in my tool bag. Very sharp and was easy to use when cutting some holes in drywall for electrical wiring. Has a press release to lock/unlock securely in place. The orange color helps stand out when trying to locate it within a full bag of tools.

I like the fact that this knife has a folding blade, making it far more practical to store, put away, and prevent it from damaging other tools

How did I get by without folding saw? Saw is rigid and works great!

Loving this folding jab saw. My current one always sticks and pulls my tool bag apart. This one is heavy duty and the blade folds out of the way for storage

This thing is awesome, no more ripped up bags, and the 125° angle option is the best thing since sliced bread!

Klein Tools Folding Jab Saw This is a very strong feeling 5 inch folding jab saw with a 7 inch comfortable handle. It is heavy and solid feeling. The point of the saw is sharp, and can easily jab through drywall, for example. (I used recently to cut an opening for an electrical box.) The blade teeth are sharp. The blade locks open in only two positions, fully extended (180 degrees) , and at a 125 degree angle (see photo). It locks open very securely. To fold the blade back into the handle, you have to press the button near the end of the handle. The blade does not spring closed into the handle, you must manually pivot it back into the handle. While I appreciate the fact that the blade locks open securely, my one complaint is that the button to release the blade to fold it is extremely difficult to press.
