Jab saws can rip or tear your tool bag. With Klein Tools Folding Jab Saw, there’s no need for taped-up, homemade sheaths or big holes in your tool pouch. The fast cutting carbon steel blade is as sturdy as a fixed blade saw, but folds smartly into the comfort-grip handle. The lockback mechanism secures the blade at a full 180-degrees and also at a 125-degrees for those hard to reach spots.

Solid tool. Well made as to be expected from Klein Tools. The folding blade is a welcome improvement over traditional saws. No more holes being created in the bottom of my tool pouch. The saw performed well with easy entry and cutting of sheetrock.

Handy for drywall patches and exploration behind the walls. Large handle is easy to grab and work with. The two positions are nice because the angled position allows a ripping action for low or high points making it easier to cut without getting onto a ladder or kneeling. Bright orange helps to keep this item located. Sharp, serrated saw teeth cut easily and quickly.

This is a very nice key hole saw. Heavier than the wooden handle type but, you will not have to worry about the tip of the saw pricking you or going thru your tool bag.

.. Klein Tools has provided me with free product and additional incentives to provide an honest review of this product..I have had a dewalt collapsable saw I’ve used for two years. Since using the klein jab saw i can tell its a lot more durable. The construction as a whole is more durable and sturdy , and makes jobs quick and easy. Hands down my go to tool for cutting drywall.

I received this tool from Klein to evaluate and review. This saw has some great feature, first the locking mechanism is solid, I have no worries about it folding back in while I’m using it like some brands. Also it goes through sheet rock like it wasn’t even there. Thirdly, the 125 degree locking angle is great for tight spots. The one issue I have with this tool is that in less than a week in my tool bag it has developed some surface rust which makes me worry about the quality of metal they used for the blade.
