Jab saws can rip or tear your tool bag. With Klein Tools Folding Jab Saw, there’s no need for taped-up, homemade sheaths or big holes in your tool pouch. The fast cutting carbon steel blade is as sturdy as a fixed blade saw, but folds smartly into the comfort-grip handle. The lockback mechanism secures the blade at a full 180-degrees and also at a 125-degrees for those hard to reach spots.

I have been using this saw for a few days now and really like it. The build quality feels solid. It’s not too heavy feels just right like a high quality product. The saw locks the blade in to separate directions which makes it really handy! And the fact that fold up makes storage so easy and no more torn up fingers or tool bags! Ideal for cutting into drywall or similar material. This saw has a very sharp set of serrations and a very sharp point that enables it to be pushed through the material to start cutting.The handle has a nice big diameter which allows a good solid grip. It its made from two materials, an orange plastic and a black rubbery type material that prevents slippage. The rear end of the handle is flat and fully covered with the black material reducing bruising that may occur to one’s palm if one were to try and bang it through some material. The rear end of the handle also has a hole for attaching it to a lanyard, or hanging on a nail.When closed the handle is just over 6½ inches.When fully opened out, it is 1 foot long.There are two locking positions, open to 125° and open to the full 180°. To close the blade one must depress the metal button towards the rear of the handle to disengage the lock.The blade does go through material very well. Each tooth has been cut three times to shape it.Warranty: Product warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when delivered to the customerMade in China

First, let me start off by saying this is a must have. Makes Tasks simple, offers more efficiency, and takes the hard work out of it all! Did I mention it locks at 125° and 180°?No?Well here it is folks! Locks to make performing tasks at awkward angles less awkward. Also, is fairly light, and since it folds all the way closed, no need to worry about cutting Pouch Rigs, Tool bags, or even your hands while trying to stow away, or reach for it!

Klein sent me this folding jab saw to test under the klein crusaders program. If I leave an honest review I will be rewarded incentives under this promotion. This jab saw is the best saw I have used. The fact I can fold it up and the blade not cut my bag or other tool grips and most importantly my hands. I can’t tell you how many times I have cut my hand open on other saws trying to retrieve them from my bag. I havent needed to fold the saw to 135degrees and cut any receptacles in. Hi all, I got this tool from Klein as part of their Klein crusaders program. I have been using it at work (I’m an electrician) for about 3 weeks now. This is such a great tool for me. I love that it doesn’t tear up my tool bag, and I have found myself folding it up and throwing it in my back pocket in the middle of a task. I would absolutely recommend this saw to any professional, or homeowner for that matter. It’s lock feels very sturdy and I have had absolutely zero issues with it.

This little saw really does comes in very handy in the yard and around bushes. Came in very well packed no problems, everything was in it’s place no inconveniences. I was really happy to have it just before the last two big storms that happened around here. I did the trimming of all the branches and cut down dead ones.
