I’m only giving this 4 stars because I only used the bit 4 times so far. HOWEVER it’s a beast and has got the job done efficiently. I used lubrication the whole time and it’s still sharp and cuts like I opened the package 2 secs ago. I’ll let you know how long it last. Possible 5 star rating.

Cuts clean, does not catch, no burrs. does not burn. Use it to cut Stainless for sink faucet install. A lot better job can cheaper than a step bit.

Tool has eliminated one step for using my Greenlee mechanical punch set. And for 3/4″ trade size has eliminated the use of my Greenlee Punch set.

I’m installing metal deck inserts and make at least 50 holes a day . The only downfall is the pilot bit breaks too easy but the cutter is excellent .

The bit had no problems cutting the my breaker box side and top wall. It did not seem to dull as I moved through drilling the holes.

Excellent cutting of metal, I used WD-40 for lube & it cut holes in 1/4″ steel plate very easily.

As with any type of metal drilling, slow and steady with mildly firm to firm pressure at a 90 degree angle to the surface being cut wins the race. Although this hole saw did better than you’re average hole saw costing a quarter to half the price, I noticed that a few of the teeth began to dull after cutting the first hole. Not worth the extra $$ for stainless, and back to depot it went…

Great tool, no digging the slug out, a spring pushes the slug out.

Worked great on very tough old stainless.

If you need to quickly make a hole in a trough or panel for conduit, this is the ticket. It may not be as clean as a Slugbuster, but you can have the hole drilled faster than you can get the Slugbuster set up. I still prefer the Slugbuster when doing several holes at a time, but for a one-off, this is the ticket.
