The Klein tooks four and one half inch bi metal hole saw. So its big and orange and makes 4 and 1/2 inch holes. The hole saw does not come with an arbor. It does say it on the package . I do not think that is clear on the website so i added some pics of what you will need. I already had one.The other thing you may want to is a good 1/2 drill the arbor you buy may work in a 3/8 drill but unless you are going into some really thin material yu are going to need a bigger drill to turn this rather large hole saw. Like always Klein tools is second to none.

The Klein Tools Bi-Metal Hole Saws are quality long life tools that live up to the Klein name. I ordered a 4 ½” saw that works flawlessly. Although I have only used it on wood so far, but it is designed to cut stainless steel, mild steel, drywall, laminate, etc. The back plate of the saw is made of heavier material to add strength. The saw is deep enough to easily cut through 2” dimensional lumber, and the slugs can be removed quickly using the slots in the sides. I will order more of these as needed. FYI: the arbor is not included with the saw. The packaging states that these are built in China.

I’m reviewing a klein tools four and a half inch hole saw bit it cuts through 2 x 4 lumber with room to spare. Cuts a nice clean hole big enough to fit 4 inch stove pipe through with the little room for insulation. You won’t be able to drive this with a normal hand drill it’s a big hole and needs a heavy duty drill I use the Milwaukee hole Hawg on low speed it had plenty of power but you have to hang on tight if the bit grabs it can take the drill out of your hands. The bit takes standard mounting similar to Milwaukee hole saws.

This is a really great hole saw. It takes quality construction on a hole saw this big. I appreciate the quality of the metal and the reasonable aggressiveness of the teeth. If a large hole saw is too aggressive it is hard to hold and control and many drills are not powerful enough. This bit cuts well and at a reasonable, controllable pace.I really like the separate holes for ejecting the coupon from the bit. A single, long hole is hard to use.A great replacement to another hole saw in my tool box.

The Klein Tools 4 1/2 bi-metal hole saw is heavy duty. It fits a standard center bit adaptor for other brands making it interchangeable with existing tools. The hole saw is well constructed and suited for your circular hole cutting needs. The 4 1/2 size provides the extra room for a 4 inch pipe if you need the extra space to pass through, as sometimes the 4 inch size makes for a tight fit.
