Klein tools are made with workers using in mine. This #1/#2 square driver combo is a nice pair up. Tested to 1000 volts and a quarter turn to unlock and the bit can be changed quickly. I like the length comfortable rubber handle and bright orange color. The bit is locked in when you change it to the other end. The end is marked INS MULTI . I like that the ends are marked to what the screw is.

Very nice design. It has a nice ergonomic rubber coated handle, that allows for an easy grip. This screwdriver offers two Robertson square tip sizes. While very light, it is plenty strong. Insulated. The mechanism to flip the ends of the bit to the size tip you want works very well and is easy to operate. The only drawback to a design like this is if you want a complete set of different tips, that’s a lot of screwdrivers you’ll have to buy and store. Wish they offered additional types and sizes of bits in the handle.

If you work on electrical, you should use an insulated screwdriver for safety. This Klein Tools product is insulated and features a flip blade. One side is #1 Square and the other is #2 Square. Both of which are common in electrical situations. I tested the #2 square on the cover bolts of my electrical panel. Then I tested the #1 square on the terminal screw of an outlet. Many people try to use a Phillips driver on an outlet when attaching the wire but the screw is made for Square or Slotted. When one uses Phillips, they cannot tighten the screw properly with enough torque. The mechanism on this screwdriver to eject the flip blade is nicely designed. One rotates the collar a single click and the flip blade unlocks and pops up a bit. Then you pull it out, flip it over and slide it back in until it locks into place. It is a very simple process to perform. There are additional models available with different blade combinations and there is a blade pack that comes with a variety of blades. The tips are machined well and fit properly into the screws. I used a multi-meter to confirm the insulation properties of the blades. Tip to tip the meter read conductivity. However Tip to any orange coated surface the meter read no conductivity which is what one would expect to see. The screwdriver is rated to handle up to 1000V.

This is definitely a high end, high quality screw driver. The handle is firm and solid yet fits my hand perfectly and does not slip or hurt my hand when pressure is put on the driver. This screw driver uses a simple push to lock and twist to unlock mechanism to add or remove driver bits. Each bit has two ends that can be flipped back and forth. This item comes with two of the square bits which are used often with decking screws. You can buy many other bits and they sell kits of multiple bits.

Klein makes outstanding electrical tools. This Model 32287 INSULATED flip-blade screwdriver (Made in Slovenia) is no different. It’s comfortable and functional, and the orange/black color scheme sets it apart in the tool bag. The 2-headed shaft (#1 and #2 square bits) locks into the handle with a simple push. A short turn of the ring at the base of the handle (easily done with thumb and forefinger) releases the spring-loaded shaft, which pops out nicely. Hold on though, as it can actually pop completely out and onto the floor. As usual with Klein tools, the end of the handle is marked for easy identification. The tool is insulated to 1000V for safety. Other shafts with different bits are also available, as is a complete kit with multiple shafts and storage case. From my perspective there is NOTHING not to like about this tool!

Klein Tools Flip Blade Insulated Screwdriver. This well crafted insulated driver (rated to 1000 volts) is well designed, very comfortable in the hand and very versatile. With one simple twist at base of blade it pops out to easy flip it over to the other bit. It locks in with a clip so you know it’s secure. It has 3 1/2 “ rubberized handle that provides excellent grip, and fits perfectly in my large (glove size) hand. I required a square head bit, #2 and the flip size is #1.

Most new electrical panels now feature screws that will let you use multiple tools to drive them. I have found that the square drive screwdrivers work the best. You have a hard time getting enough torch on the screws with a philips of straight blade screwdriver. The problem was that I didn’t have an insulated square drive screwdriver until now. This driver makes it much safer to work on a live panel. This driver has the #1 and #2 square drive tips, so it fits the screws you are likely to run into. The shaft and handle are fully insulated, so you are very unlikely to get a shock, or cause a short curite. The flip blade locks securely into the handle, and requires turning a locking ring to remove it. The handle feels comfortable in my hand, and provides a firm grip. I expect this driver to see a lot of use!

Klein 2-in-1 Insulated Flip-Blade Screwdriver, #1 Square, #2 Square this is another excellent quality tool from the Klein Tool Company. This flip square drive 3! And #2 is the perfect tool for any electrician, or other person who might be installing breakers in electrical panels. The bright orange shaft is coated with a dielectric white inner coating and is bonded to the tool shaft then covered in a protective bright orange outer coating that is flame and impact resistant. The blades are easily changed taking the black collar at the bottom of the handle and turning left or right. When turned the bright insert pops out of the cushioned grip handle. The tips can be removed to use other available tips or turned around for the different tip of the back side. A simple push and the new tip locks into the handle. There are five basic interchangeable different tips available for the tool. Comprising a removable “Flip-Blade” Driver insert (with #1 and #2 Square Drive bits) in an insulated polymeric and elastomeric handle, provided with a quick release collar, this driver is rated for use up to 1,000 volts. The insert itself is insulated as well as the handle. The insert is spring loaded for ease of removing when the release collar is turned, though the spring can be a little too aggressive, resulting in “launching” the flip blade. Hopefully, the spring will become less strong with use as it is really not really needed in the first place. The retention feature prevents the undesirable detaching of the insert as can happen with ball-detent type retention. The end of the handle is marked “INS Multi” which will distinguish it from other tools in one’s tool pouch. This tool provides an extra level of protection in case one contacts and unexpected live circuit with the tool. I found the elastomeric grip comfortable, however, someone with a large hand may find the grip to be on the small side. These square drive bits are useful for many of the fasteners provided on electrical equipment and components. A good addition to the tool arsenal.

Another high quality Klein product. This screwdriver is a flip style, which means the blade and shank are double-ended, and you remove and re-insert it to access another tip style. This particular screwdriver is square drive #1 and #2, and insulated to 1000 volts. I got the square bit model for use with electrical equipment, for example circuit breakers. The square drive doesn’t slip off the breaker screw, which increases safety. The bit shank is retained by two metal pins inside the handle which securely grip the shank. The locking mechanism is activated by twisting a collar on the handle. It works very well.
