Klein Tools Flip-Blade Insulated Screwdriver is 2 drivers in 1 tool. Easily flip the screwdriver blade with the twist-lock, auto-eject mechanism to use either the #2 Phillips or in. Slotted end. There are 2 layers of insulation to protect from electric shock. A thick, exceptionally tough, high-dielectric white inner coating is bonded to the tool, while a bright orange outer coating is flame and impact resistant. Klein insulated tools exceed the ASTM F1505 standards for insulated tools, and are clearly marked with the official 1000-Volt rating symbol.
- Insulated screwdriver flip-blade has a #2 Phillips end and a 1/4 in. slotted end
- Lock mechanism holds the blade in place, simply twist to auto-eject for easy blade removal
- Twist-lock release accommodates left or right-handed operation
- Interchangeable blades with a slim-tip to fit tight terminal blocks
- 2-layers of insulation: an orange impact and flame resistant outer coating, and a white high-dielectric inner bonded coating
- Handle and blade have a 1000-Volt insulation rating
- Meets or exceeds ASTM F1505 standards for insulation
- Cushion-grip handles for greater torque and comfort
- Double-ended blades have a 3.5 in. shaft length

Klein tool co. Make some good tools and this on is up there on the list. The handle is like the other screwdrivers. This one has interchangeable blades. Phillips to straight blade flip. The lock is nice 1/4 turn and the blade can change. This is also tested to 1000 volts. The end is marked as insulated and multiple tip. The tip matched is nice combination.

It’s grip is comfortable to hold and turn made from insulating material. The ends of the flip-blade tool shank are hardened steel for lasting use, and the shank is insulated as well. It’s easy to flip sides with an easy twist of the grip.

I work in the maintenance department at a factory in MO. I was worried about how much tork it would take. I’ve been terminating #10 and #6 wires in large panels and has held up well. The flip between a blade and philips head makes it easier to carry instead of carrying 2 screwdrivers. My only concern is the lock release feels abit flimsy but seems to be doing the job.
