Klein 27 in 1 ScrewdriverThis screwdriver has one great advantage over all of its competition. All the bits are with you all of the time. The double ended bits in the handle are easy to get to all the time. The handle allows you to keep pressure on the screw in the fitting, box or nut, while still allowing the other hand to complete driving the fastener home. The other screwdrivers with multi-bit magnetic screwdrivers all need to have the bit container in a separate container that needed to be held horizonal or tightly in position by foam or another retainer. That has always been away from where the screwdriver was being used. Everyone in my crew or just nearby immediately asked ” what do you do when you lose a bit “. My first response was ” don’t lose one “. Then I checked the Klein tool website. If you or one of your workers do start losing bits, a full replacement set can be obtained from the Klein Tools site. As for the tool it does a good job fitting all of the variable fastener you’ll come across. That being said it does an excellent job, doing the job you need done as always from Klein. It has earned a spot in my electrical backpack as it was designed to do.

I need this speciality screwdriver to work on electronics. Many of the electronic manufactures are getting sneaky and are securing their products with security screws so that you cannot open up the device and fix it. The great thing about this screwdriver is that all of the security bits are stored in the handle. You just pull out the top of the screwdriver and select the bit that you need. While there might be security screws that can’t be removed with the included bits I have not found one yet. Since the driver is a 1/4″ drive you could also purchase additional security bits if you need them and still use this driver. I always buy Klein when I can as they are well made and extremely practical. In addtion most regular screws can also be removed by using the security bits. Therefore this can be used for normal screws also.

I’m all about saving space in the tool pouch, tool bag and/or tool box and this 27-in-1 tamperproof screwdriver does just that. A lot of time and thought has gone into this one. The stainless steel barrel and rare earth magnets securely hold the bits and fasteners. It’s not a weak magnet like in some other tools. You know there’s a magnet in this one. Each bit also has its own pin detent, like on a ratchet that also helps to keep the bits secure. The size is engraved on each bit too. The Cushion-Grip Handle is easy to get a good grip on, like you’re used to with other Klein tools. The end cap spins, making it easy to control and turn fasteners. All the bits are stored securely and neatly in the handle. The end of the handle is clearly marked as to what the tool is, so that you can quickly and easily spot it. All of this is put together in a quality tool that you’ve come to expect from Klein. I have Klein tools that are probably older than many of you reading this. They’ve been around for a long time and have always made top quality tools. This one is no different. Very impressive in every way.

For over 50 years I’ve opened up power supplies, controllers, black boxes and computers that were designed with limited access for a variety of reasons. Years ago I started with a small set of hollow core torx bits (shown in a photo) but that didn’t always meet the need. This single screwdriver will twist 27 types of heads. I’m anxious to find an expensive smart device that I’ll need access to and then I’ll be smiling like a clam as I turn that handle counterclockwise.

This review is for the Klein Tools 27-in-1 Multi-Bit Tamperproof Screwdriver. If you are looking for a screwdriver with lots of specialty or tamperproof bits this is the one for you. This screwdriver has 26 specialty bits and a ¼ in nut driver all neatly housed in the handle. The handle has a spin cap that rotates the bits for easy selection. The shank of the screwdriver is magnetized to hold the bits securely in place. The handle is nicely cushioned to prevent fatigue and offers a secure grip. This is another well designed Klein Tool that you will want in your toolbox.

CONVENIENT; WELL-DESIGNED; EASY TO USE —- The Klein Tools 27-in-1 Multi-Bit Tamperproof Screwdriver is a well-designed tool which offers 26 screwdriver bits and a 1/4″ nut driver all in one tool. It is a useful tool to have when you need multiple screwdriver sizes for a task but with this tool, you only need to carry one screwdriver. The screwdriver bits are the highest quality, better than the ones on my individual screwdrivers. I had never seen a slotted screwdriver bit like these with the fork shape (see photo) but they actually work better than my standard slotted screwdrivers. Twenty-four of the bits are cleverly stored in the handle with two in the screwdriver itself. Each entity has a screwdriver bit on each end. The rare earth magnets are powerful enough that the bits don’t fall out of the screwdriver. In fact, they are so strong that I need to use a pliers to remove a bit. The screwdriver has a cushion grip and a spinner top. This screwdriver is a pleasure to use. It is made in Taiwan.

KLEIN TOOLS 27-IN-1 MULTI-BIT TAMPERPROOF SCREWDRIVERI like that it has 27 different kinds of bits in that screwdriver. It is tamperproof screwdriver. It is easy to pull it’s inside the bottom where the handle is. I turn it around to look for the bit to match for the screws to use it for my DIY projects. Useful to have twenty seven bits in one screwdriver.

Klein Tools 27-in-1 Multi-Bit Tamperproof Screwdriver. There are several nice features in this versatile tool. The first thing I like is the 3-1/4” narrow shaft with the ¼” magnetic nut driver end. My old Klein multi screwdriver tool has a short fat shaft that is hard to get into many tight places. The shaft on this tool is more like a regular screwdriver. The pullout handle has 12 slots to hold the double ended bits minus the bit in use, a total of 26-bit points in all. Using the nut driver will leave the odd man out and possible loss when taken out and set aside. The rotating handle head also doubles as a rotating hold point when applying pressure to a fastener. I can see a use for most of the bits, but you should never encounter a screw head you cannot conquer with this versatile multi tool.

This is a super versatile tool in the multi-bit screwdriver category. I used to carry a tamperproof bit set to use with a separate driver as I encounter tamper resistant fasteners from time to time at my job. This tool simplifies things for me as this one tool carries a dozen double-ended tamper resistant bits inside a telescopic rack located in the hollow handle. One more double-ended bit resides in the shaft. This makes for a total of 26 different tamper resistant bits on board. When the fact that the shaft can serve as a ¼” nut-driver it’s easy to see how this tool is 27 in one. This is a nice quality piece. The plastic is smooth and has a solid feel. It doesn’t feel brittle and should last a long time. The metal pieces are all nicely finished and smooth. Klein has taken the extra step to stamp “27-in-1” Tamper on the end of the handle. This feature makes it easy to pull the correct tool from a tool pouch or holster. I’m pleased with the quality of this tool and recommend it to anyone who encounters tamper resistant fasteners.
