The 1/4 inch. x 4 inch. L S2 Steel Bit Extension Pro Impact Power Bit should be an item in everyone’stool kit. I use mine in the drill as an extension for added length to install self tapping screws or addinga flat head or Phillip’s bit to install screws. The magnetic head is great for hold your 1/4 inch screws in place for odd angles that you have to get to for extended reach. I don’t think you can destroy this steel bit shaft holder under normal usage.

Just right for screwing inside electrical boxes! High Klein quality for demanding electrical workers.I’ve used many long-bits or extenders to get into boxes or corners where the nose of my power screwdriver won’t fit. I like this one best of all. Just the right length for electrical box ground-screws or rear-mounting surface boxes, even the deep boxes I favor. STRONG magnet holds the bit securely. Stainless steel tip won’t rust from finger-sweat. Also available in the Klein Pro Impact Power Bit Set (cat. no. 32799), which may be a better buy.

I will never use my impact wrench without a bit extension again. The extension bit is a MUST have. I made the mistake of once putting a small Phillips bit directly into an older impact wrench. When I tried to remove it, I couldn’t get a good grip on it – it was stuck. I tried everything, even had a friend of mine drill a hole in the bit with a dental drill. It gave me more leverage, but I still couldn’t remove the bit. In the end, I had to install a brand new chuck. For then on I always use an extension bit (cheap insurance).

This 1/4 inch extension pro impact power bit is just what I needed to fill in my 1/4 inch combination standard and metric socket set I seamed always to be in need of a extension so the set was more universal. It seamed like I always had one to long or to short. This 4 inch extension is more universal for my needs and much easier to handle that the shorter ones. Being heavy duty steel allows me to use more torque than normal.

If you are a professional or super handiman you probably have a box of driver bits and not enough bit holders to use them. This is a really well-made 4 inch bit holder with your typical magnetic cup. I have well over 200 bits from the standard to torx to square to what the heck does that go to? This is a well constructed bit holder that will live in my handyman tool bag. It’s an excellent addition!

magnetic and impact ready. prefect for what i do often driving in lag bolts and long timber screws. right out of the package i put it to work driving in 6″ timber loc lags , over 40 of them with out any flexfrom the driver. use it constantly for deck screws and i will break the torx head bits every so often but no damage to the extension. i like the durability and that its strong enough of a magnet to actually hold the bit and some screws as well.

The Klein Tools 1/4 in. x 4 in. Steel Bit Extension Pro Impact Power Bit is just the tool to use in hard to reach places where you do not want to have the bit slip out of the extension holder. The 4 inch length is sufficient to reach the work at hand or to minimize the angle of a bit going into the screw. The stainless steel holder is of obvious quality. My favorite feature is the neodymium magnet. An inadvertent bump will not dislodge your bit. In fact, I have to use a pair of pliers to remove short bits – an inconvenience that I will gladly trade to prevent having to search for or abandon bit that are dropped because of wimpy magnets.

This extension works just like it should with no problems, they call it a 4 inch but I measure it a just about 3 3/4 inches long. The construction seems to be good and the metals used have stood up well so far. The magnet inside of the extension is quite strong, a lot better than some of the “cheapies” that have used. The bits fit inside nice and tight. All in all a good usable and seemingly good quality tool.

Then this is the answer to your problems! The 1/4 IN. X 4 IN. L S2 STEEL BIT EXTENSION PRO IMPACT POWER BIT is perfect for taking your existing driver bits and adding some additional reach to them! What is noce about this one is that it is also rated for your impact drill driver! This works great. Holds in your driver bits and gives you enough room to reach all the way back into an electrical junction box or get around that door handle to remove the screws. I already have a large collection of driver bits and didn’t want to have to start buying them all over again just to have some more reach. This bit extension was the perfect solution. Durable and sturdy. It has lasted so far to my tool usage abuse.
