Klein Tools has designed a set of Impact Power Bits for the professional electrician. All the bits are made of high-impact rated S2 steel and color coded for easy identification. The 1-1/4-Inch (6.4 mm) long driver bits are easier to grip than a standard 1-Inch (25.4 mm) bit. The bit holder and nut drivers have strong magnets, and are also designed longer so they reach easily into junction boxes. Minimal chamfering on the nut drivers’ hex pockets increases surface contact between the nut and driver for better performance. All 26 pieces fit snugly in a durable, impact-resistant case featuring steel hinges, a stay-shut latch, and a hidden compartment for loose bits.

Klein has come up with a fairly complete set of power drill bits and nut drivers set for the electrician. All of the sizes that would be used in electrical work are included. The nut drivers contain a VERY strong magnet to hold screws and nuts. An extension for the drill bits gives you a long reach into the panel or electrical box and is also magnetized. The case is designed for easy access to the correct bit or driver and there is even a storage compartment for loose extra bits (which I have some of). The latch on the case is spring loaded which means it will NOT inadvertently come open and spill all of the box’s contents. That is the voice of experience. The price point is very reasonable for this set. It is made of S2 steel, a metal with a high carbon content and alloy stainless steel, which makes the bits and drivers extra strong.

The bits are S2 steel, a metal with a high carbon content and alloy stainless steel, which are strong and will last a long time. The 4″ extension for the drill bits gives you a long reach.

Nicely composed set. As a DIY homeowner, it sometimes seems to take me as much time to assemble the tools for a project as it does to complete the actual work involved. For my (fairly basic) electrical work, this set is a convenient got-it-all grab-n-go item. Pro: Plenty of extended or extension choices, plenty of bit choices for whatever screws and bolts come my way. Nice strong magnet in the extension – enough of a field to hold not only the bit but the screw (tested with Philips) as well. Case well made and compact. Nice touch – space left in the case for loose bits from other sources.Con: No real negatives. Dinging one point for the lack of a screw driver handle that can take these bits. Not every situation calls for a powered driver.

This is a Rock solid impact driver kit from Klein tools.It comes with Lots of tips, and a few sockets too. Comes in a solidly built orange plastic case with a securely locking mechanism so that you don’t lose anything.
